Amazing lunch plates. Price is reasonable. Bring your appetite, because the portions are huge. I went in a few weeks ago and ask to just try the Hog Maws. They were generous enough to let me try a little bit. Came back the following week for a full plate. I was not disappointed, and will make every attempt to go back every friday.

Excellent black eyed peas, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and catfish. Full selection of soul food including chitlins and turkey necks. Quality can be a little uneven from one visit to the next, but it’s definitely worth a try. Pro tip: get there exactly when they open or else you may have to park in the field next door and there will be a long line.
