It was an amazing dinner. High end ambitious menu!
The owners treated us like family!
They were lovely… a cute fun couple!
The raw oysters were the best I have ever had!
The desserts and homemade Cesar salad were also the best. I dont leave reviews often!
But, as we plan on going back every year for the church event, we will certainly visit here again!!
What truly sets this place apart is the owner. Attentive, genuinely kind, and passionate about hospitality, they make every guest feel welcome and valued. The service is warm without being intrusive, adding a personal touch that elevates the entire evening.
If you’re looking for outstanding French cuisine paired with heartfelt service, this spot is well worth a visit.
What a find. My wife and I have stayed in the Lenox area a few times, but this time we strayed into Lee on a quiet off-season evening and stumbled onto something really special: Café Triskele. A friend who’s local had recommended it on our first visit and we’d read the reviews, we were just a little slow to get there. I’m so glad we finally did.
The restaurant is so charming, it’s almost like stepping into a little corner of Europe. The bar is intimate and full of character (see photo). Coco, our bartender and server, was an absolute delight. She made us feel welcome, like we were regulars. I started with a violet martini that was surprisingly delicious, with tiny real violets as garnish. My wife had a Pimm’s Cup that reminded her of London on a summer afternoon. I mean, you never see Pimm’s Cups and violet martinis as featured drinks. This was something special and such a lovely way to ease into the evening.
The food was beyond incredible (the other reviews do not exaggerate). I started with the French onion soup, and it was among the best I’ve ever had. Rich and topped with perfectly melted Gruyère, it came with real French bread which was amazing on its own. We kept looking at each other and smiling, like, “Wait, where are we right now?” It was really that good.
For dinner, I went with the Marinière mussels, and I’m not exaggerating when I say these were the best mussels I’ve had anywhere. Seriously. I’ve had them all over the country, I make them at home, I’ve tried plenty at good restaurants, and these honestly blew them all away. Fresh, beautifully prepared with fresh herbs, and served with hand-cut fries that were lightly crispy, golden perfection (see pic). We started planning our next visit halfway through. Seriously.
We finished with profiteroles for dessert, which were airy and decadent. I wish I’d taken a photo to share. And to top it off, we had the pleasure of chatting with Gilbert, one of the owners. He was so warm, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they’ve built here. At one point I asked him if he’d ever seen the film Big Night, because that’s exactly what this meal reminded me of: food made with intention, care, and a kind of reverence you don’t see every day. This is clearly someone who takes deep pride in creating exquisite dishes using the very best ingredients.
If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and go. Café Triskele is the real deal. We’re already planning our next visit.
