Great Pad Thai, but the dine-in experience needs work
We recently moved our office to a new location near Northwestern Highway, so I’ve been on a mission to find new go-to lunch spots. Café Thai came up when I searched “Thai food near me” and as someone who loves all kinds of food—especially a good chicken Pad Thai, medium spice—I had to give it a shot.
First off, the food itself was excellent. The Pad Thai was packed with flavor, had just the right amount of heat, and came with a generous amount of chicken. Portion size was great too—definitely worth the price.
Now for the not-so-great part: the ordering process feels more like a fast-food spot. You order at the counter, pay immediately, and the card reader asks for a tip before you’ve even tasted the food or received any service. That’s always a little awkward. I also told them I was dining in, but my food came in a to-go container with a flimsy plastic fork and knife. Eating noodles with utensils that bend under pressure is not ideal.
Also, I like to treat myself to a Coke now and then, but whatever was coming out of their soda machine definitely wasn’t Coke. Hopefully they can fix that.
All that said, the food was solid enough that I’ll definitely be back—just next time I’ll order ahead and take it to-go so I can eat it with proper silverware back at the office. Café Thai is a great lunch option if you’re nearby, just be prepared for a more casual, carry-out style experience.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Tiny hole in the wall with the best food around. The Siam Crispy rolls are a MUST. C2 is my go to. Everything they made is excellent. Give it a try today!!!!

Thai Cafe is a gem for delicious Thai cuisine. We tried the vegetarian peanut curry and Pad Thai, both of which were bursting with authentic flavors. The curry was rich and satisfying, while the Pad Thai had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Be warned, though: when they say spicy, they mean it! Choose your heat level wisely. Overall, a fantastic meal at Thai Cafe.

This place had great food and the service was amazing….The Chicken Satay was a lot larger than i am used to at most Thai restaurants, The Tom Yum soup was good but only had one piece of shrimp in it. The Pad thai was on point

They need to change the way the package spring rolls. I called the Resturant and she said it’s nothing they can do about sauce being all over 6 rolls I purchased. I have been coming here for years and never had this happen. I will not be coming back here for spring rolls. Smart food service prepare area know not to put a plastic container inside foil with hot food because it will melt and open and SPILL!

First of all, the service is great. Come after rush hour and you will be served quickly and the food comes out fast as well. The food is on point. I always order chicken with my noodles and the serving is more than enough. If you order your food spicy, it will be accurately spicy. The prices are very reasonable and I will come back again.

This is my favorite restaurant. This was my go to spot when I lived in the area and was pretty bummed when I moved away. A year later I found myself back in town and the food is still excellent, staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is calm and cozy.
