My wife and I are in town visiting a friend and tried to find parking for a ramen restaurant and we gave up. I searched and found this restaurant as I really wanted sushi. We asked Mother Kali to help us find parking and we parked right in front of Bodhi Leaf, a Tibetan store, which is next to the restaurant. Auspicious?
I order my safe list of testing a new sushi restaurant, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and ell rolls. I also added 2 spicy scallop hand rolls and miso soup. All of which delivered. A great sushi restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. in my humble opinion.

My partner and I have been long time fans of Cafe Sushi, primarily enjoying the take out options but were excited to checkout the expanded dine in option they’ve recently opened. Boy were we happy with the result. I cannot underplay how impressed we were with the quality and freshness of the fish, truly 10/10 and we will be back to continue working our way through the menu. Great job, cafe sushi!

Cafe Sushi has reopened for dine-in! We went in with high expectations and were still pleasantly surprised. Our server Hiroko was so helpful, sweet, and enthusiastic. The nigiri was inventive and the toppings complemented the fish without overwhelming it. I am still drooling over the salmon belly. I really enjoyed the sablefish starter. The sake list and Japanese beer selections were great, too. Can’t wait to come back!

Randomly ended up here and so glad we did. DT the waiter was phenomenal. Miso glazed sablefish, tuna belly, yellowtail kingfish, eel roll, tuna roll and everything was excellent. The saki recommendation which I can’t remember the name was excellent. The meal for two with tip was about $300.

Cafe Sushi is a good spot if you’re craving sushi, with fresh food and a nice atmosphere. However, if you’re nearby and want something truly satisfying, Singh Dhaba Boston is an excellent choice. The authentic flavors, generous portions, and consistent quality at Singh Dhaba Boston make it a place you should definitely visit. Highly recommended if you’re deciding between options in the area.

I guess from other reviews that inside dining only recently re-opened, and I’m so happy it did! We sat at the sake bar, which I recommend– great atmosphere.
My partner and I had the scallops and the citrus salmon from the starters section, and then selections from both nigiri and maki sections: fatty tuna belly, salmon/king salmon, and uni. Everything was great! Thank you kitchen staff!!
Our server, Hiroko was fantastic as well. She was very helpful, and her suggestions were all great! Thank you!
We will definitely be back.

Great sushi for the price. Went here because my neighbor raved about this place. The ssamjang was an interesting sauce, but some of my friends that like ssamjang did not like it on sushi. I would go again and pick up is easy. Accommodated an octopus allergy. Not the best sushi in Boston but best sushi for the price in Boston while maintaining quality and standards.
