The cafe is attached to the mercantile. It’s a nice little coffee shop that’s fairly quiet and cozy.
We got 2 quiches and they were a solid “ok” but a little too much crust for our liking. We got the bacon cheddar and the ham and cheese, but honestly I couldn’t tell you which was which. There just wasn’t enough filling.
The Shaken Salted Maple with cold foam was definitely the best part of the meal. Good flavor, though the coffee seemed to be separated at the very bottom of the cup. I had to kind of shake it to get the milk combined under the foam. Sweet but tasty!
Prices were fair compared to similar coffee shops. $5.50 for the quiche.
The workers were friendly!

Mini Quiche is amazing and keeps me coming back. The breakfast sandwich was low quality, especially in comparison to the quiche. It could easily be elevated by a better quality sausage.
The coffee is hit or miss or maybe I just haven’t found my drink.

One time though, I ordered decaf and it was undrinkable. Something went very wrong… it was chunky. They made it right, so still left happy.

All in all, so glad this is here. Room for improvement. Keep the mini quiches coming and please figure out the decaf espresso.

Service is very sweet. Love who they hire, but can be unpredictable in terms of timing. Don’t go here if you are in a hurry or order ahead online.

Cafe Sperry’s is a cozy spot with a unique charm that feels like stepping into an old saloon or smoking parlor—in the cutest way possible (we promise)!

The smoked salmon bagel was fresh & flavorful. Their fall drinks were an absolute highlight—the pumpkin pie latte & campfire latte had us wishing the season would hurry up & get here already!

The staff was friendly, the open layout made it easy to relax & our favorite little touch was the photo of foxes enjoying dinner tucked on the back of the shelves.

We can’t wait to visit again (& think you should too!)

Updated review: If you are like me and prefer your mocha on the bitter side, this is your place! Still, I may ask for it without vanilla syrup next time because it was a tad sweet for my taste.

Original review Sep ’24: Go ahead and get a large coffee for $3.74 (including tax) because it’s a much better deal than the $3 I paid for this tiny little 8 oz coffee. But know that the coffee is super strong

I love love love this place. I go all the time and have actually stopped going other places because of this coffee shop. I only give it 4/5 stars because 1. They took all my son’s favorite snacks away from up front so he doesn’t want to go as much anymore. 2. They never have the tomato mini quiche which is my all time favorite . It’s always the spinach or bacon or the other one. Other than those 2 things 10/10.

What a lovely addition to the limited Bellevue Coffee scene! I mean I love The Well Coffeehouse – Bellevue but everyone loves a variety of options to choose from and this neighborhood definitely lacked it.

I tried their seasonal Latte – Lavender Blueberry and i think they should add it to
their permanent menu. It was excellent and reasonably priced. They do have all types of dairy alternatives, which I appreciate.

They also have a ton of options to choose from for food, pastries, croissants, yogurt parfait, overnight brown sugar cinnamon oats, chia pudding.

The indoor seating is comfy, tables placed spaciously and not crammed next to each other. I wish there was an outdoor space too, but I do appreciate a large parking lot to ensure it can host a large crowd.

Staff was extremely friendly and they were very happy and welcoming to towards the customers. Crowd was nice.

I’d definitely be going there again!

I have been a fan of Sperry’s restaurant for almost the 50 years and never been disappointed…. thus I decided to try the cafe. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and unfortunately was disappointed. The chicken salad was very dry and very little on the sandwich bread. It was more bread than chicken salad. I suggest you reexamine that offering. I will try it again simply to see if my experience was a one time thing!

This is just what Bellevue needed! It is perfect for work with all the tables having an outlet at them. But also I saw Moms with babies meeting for coffee. Such a great space – great atmosphere, food and coffee! Of course great meat and sea food that Sperry’s is known for.

We love to buy the filet tails and of course grab a slice of the Carmel cake to take home for dinner.

As a mom I did notice the men’s and women’s restroom has a changing table sign on the outside and i appreciate that very much.

Such a cute shop and was really excited to stop. Only to find out that they don’t run the kitchen in the morning, and it’s pastry type foods. Not a cafe or a restaurant at all! We had three kids with us, stopping in for breakfast. Bummer and definitely misleading. This is a coffee shop and that’s it! Bought and oatly choc milk as we loved they had it for one of the kiddos.
