Staff is always friendly and helpful with me and my toddler. Also just learned the little ones eat free now! That’s amazing and helps us save some cash. The food is your typical breakfast items but they serve lunch as well I believe. It’s not bad.

Ordered a Denver omelette and substituted the bread for a pancake. Pancake was flourly like my mom used to make growing up and it was full size. Decided to go with hash browns instead of breakfast potatoes. Good portion sizes and the omelette huge. Only gave four stars cause eggs didn’t have any seasoning, hence the hot sauce on top. The waitresses were nice and attentive. Would recommend and come back.

I’m always on the hunt for a chicken fried steak so I gave this place a shot. Not bad but not great. Biscuits are disappointing but I’m pretty picky when it comes to biscuits. I already have my favorite breakfast joint in LG so I won’t be back until I need another chicken fried steak fix. It’s one of the best I’ve had in the valley though so maybe give it a shot.

My Crab Benedict was really good, served with Crisp House Potatoes.
My daughter had Chocolate Chips Pancakes, really good as well. Big portion with 3 Pancakes, so we took one of them to go.

This is a SJ treasure: traditional local diner/ cafe. Portions are ample and the staff are so friendly and sweet. It’s in a great location for teens as there is a vintage toy and comic book store next door and a goodwill 20 steps from the door, so parents can enjoy a few moments of peace and a good cup of coffee after the family meal. Staff are happy to accommodate food preferences and the sourdough toast comes already buttered like grandma used to make. 10/10
