This place is fantastic. Portion sizes are absolutely perfect and the staff is very nice. I loved how authentic the food was. The staff was even nice to the group of seven people that showed up 10 minutes before closing. I’m definitely going to be coming back here next time I’m at bear lake!!

Ur had many dishes here, and they have all been good. My favorite is the Camarones a la diabla. Service has always been helpful and friendly. My wife is gluten free, and they had a lot of options for her.

My family went to Cafe Sabor in Garden City over Raspberry Days. The attentive service from our waitress and the incredible manager named Armando made this such a great experience. The flavors and authenticity of the dishes made it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine and excellent customer service!

The wait was long, but we expected that from getting there at rush hour. We got sat next to the kitchen wall and got to listen to someone back there swearing at someone at the top of his lungs at someone else. The food…. Zero flavor to the ground beef. It was like they forgot the spices and just cooked ground beef. Zero flavor to the red sauce. Ketchup has more flavor. The staff was apologetic about the wait.

Fajitas were good but not great. Wish the chips were fried in a different fryer so they were gluten free. One of the few Mexican restaurants I have been to that doesn’t do that. Overall not a bad experience but room for improvement. The salsa was amazing.

Complimentary chips and salsa were really good! Portions were huge so come hungry. The combination platter (pictured) came out and I was worried it would be a soupy mess. However, the sauces my tamale, enchilada, and Chile Relleno were swimming in were very tasty and it worked well. The rice and beans were not great. My wife had the fajitas and said they were very good.

The server was very nice. I ordered the meal with two enchiladas, one with sweet pork and one with shredded beef and two sides of sour cream. What I got was two enchiladas with no sauce, ground beef instead of shredded beef and no sour cream. Of course it was carryout, so no way to get it fixed now. I’m sad. ☹️

Excellent and fast service. The place was quite busy but the workers seemed very happy that we were there. Food servings are pretty big, but tastes good and satisfying. They are also very generous about their nachos and salsa so don’t be shy to ask for more.

We’ve been to Cafe Sabor a couple of times. Typically, I’d give them a four-star rating, but this time was different. The service was quite slow and the food was only average. The rice was drier than normal though the steak was well seasoned, moist and cooked just right. The service wasn’t proactive as we asked about our meal and had to request to have drinks filled on more than one occasion.

The food was terrible, no sauce on the enchiladas and the cheese wasn’t even melted, the tostada shell was so over cooked it was bitter, the shell for the soft tacos were old and the chips the start the meal were mostly crumbs and stale. Our waiter never once refilled our drinks. The restaurant was only 2/3 full so they were busy but by no means overly full. Will NEVER go back!
