My family and I have been coming to Cafe Roma for years. One of my all-time favorite memories is sitting in the restaurant when having get together with family I haven’t seen in a while. And as a vegetarian who doesn’t always feel comfortable in restaurants, Cafe Roma has always felt warm and welcoming. It’s nostalgic and wonderful tasting food. Especially their pizzas!

This is the pizza we got. So much cheese and so undercooked on the bottom that you can’t pick up a slice. It was also not cut through so I had to cut it myself and ended up with a sloppy mess of extra toppings and thin, floppy crust.

The portions are HUGE and tasty. Instead of bread with your pasta you get slices of cheese pizza, weird but good. We went there at 1pm on a Saturday and had the whole place to ourselves.

Set a large group of us in the doorway leading to the bathroom. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken that came dry and tasteless. The Greek dressing was old, broken and separated.

The shrimp and artichoke calzone was an amazing pairing with the corn and crab bisque. Although the bisque could have use more lump crab meat for textures sake, the flavor was there. I also added a Cesar salad accompanied with a house Cesar dressing, the dressing was delicious, and coated the salad well throughout each bite. I did have to do the dressing of the salad myself and there was a small issue of “powdered” Parmesan but the flavors explained the course of choice because it worked really well.

While a handful of employees stood around just talking, we were told, like normal to “sit wherever”. Except that out of sum 10 tables, one was occupied and none were clean. I dont expect the greatest service from this place ever but this was unreal. As i turned to walk out the waitress was like “i could clean a table for you” and i told her “absolutely not. Clean your s#!+. This is gross” and we left.

Pizza was just what it is …. Nothing special but not bad. Only suggestions I would make to the owner is to have your staff in at least shirts with your logo in them… and your counter cleared of all the clutter.
