Food is great and hearty when the two brothers are working.
Twice I’ve had the all female staff, they hardly put any meat on taco. Next time, I’ll just leave. $10 is a lot for just a spoonful.

The food was good as always. I love their salads. But for the first time I ordered the chicken Tortilla Soup. It was $9 for this small soup and that one piece of chicken. I will NEVER order that and pay $9 for broth. That picture below is all the chicken that was in that bowl.

Good food, but slow, disinterested service. The person who put together our food was apparently not trained to run the till. He did not call anyone to run the till until a customer asked after we’d waited for more than two minutes.
I ordered a large mint limeade to drink, but that container was nearly empty, so I could only get 2 inches in my cup. I asked a worker to refill it, she said yes, then none of the 5 workers did anything, even though only one was actively serving customers. After about 5 minutes, I asked again and was told “in 10 minutes”. 10 minutes later a worker refilled a different container. Another few minutes later, we had finished our food, so I asked for a refund on the price of my drink, which was given, and we left.
I wouldn’t go back, and can’t recommed this place with the current crew.

Great food, but the dine in experience could be better…. The SCREAMING wheel could be greased so I can hear music instead of chittering.
Also, the Baja Shrimp tacos have got to be old shrimp
They were as dry as any water swelling creature could ever be, and they were all cooked inside of their shells and with Tails…. Idk who wants to dig through their food but I thought this was ready to eat.

Charging $43 for two burritos, one of which had clearly ripped while folding and two small drinks, is diabolical. Tortilla had dried out crispy bits fyi. If you’re gonna charge that price thats fine food seemed very fresh but staff have excute it. Wednesday 10/29. Just felt ripped off.

A very pleasant experience. When I was being served I got no attitude, I didn’t have to repeat myself numerous times, and they were generous with the amounts. They answered my questions respectfully. A very homelike atmosphere, simple and quiet. Normally I can finish my meal, but this time the food won.

I’ve always been team Cafe Rio over Chipotle. they have the best wet burritos for the cost. I typically get a barbacoa tostada that’s always been a great tasty meal.
they literally have the best cilantro lime dressing ever you can’t go wrong with the dressing.
I could totally just eat that dressing every day for the rest of my life.
This place definitely does not disappoint. The food is always tasty and delicious always fresh. The service is good. The servers are fast as well. There’s typically no waiting time.
10 out of 10 definitely recommend cafe Rio.

Love their freshly made tortillas and the mint lemonade!! Now I really only get two things from here but I love them so much I dont really bother trying anything else. Lol The barbacoa burrito with black beans, light rice done enchilada style with the spicy sauce and the barbacoa salad (love the sweet meat) with their creamy green dressing. My kids love both of them too.
