I understand that people can have inconsistent experiences at fast food places like this however, I only ate here once, simply because I was in the area and I has a fantastic experience. The staff has a great culture, very kind and personable. I ordered the barbacoa pork and went pretty liberal with sauces/queso to which they more than obliged. Had a short chat with one of the managers, Donny, and they had a great energy about them. 5 stars would stop by again.

Hard to see the extremely over seasoned rice, but it’s there. With the lack of content to the salad.
Pretty sure the salad size is smaller.

Constant errors with orders and worse with the app.
Chips missing from queso and chips.
The side of steak with the tortilla would be nice, even was highlighted
Extra limes with none included.
Majority of drinks were out, including the listed lemonade.

I went to this location yesterday as I was waiting for a doctors office to reopen from lunch break. I ordered a “bowl”. It was just unedible in my view. I am watching carbs so no rice. I asked for light pinto beans and chicken. The beans had little to no flavor and the chicken was this wet, shredded mess also with no flavor. I added a couple sauces and asked for things like corn salsa, lettuce, etc to try and get a little more food value.
Instead I ended up with this soupy, runny, wet mess that basically had food bits floating in it with no flavor. I wanted the fire-grilled chicken but before I could ask for it the server used the tongs and put what she grabbed in the bowl. I was never asked “which chicken”. That meat was just nasty.
Anyhow I tried to eat a little of it but threw probably 2/3rds of it in the trash. If I had wanted soup I would have asked for it. I won’t be going back to this location. Maybe not go back to Cafe Rio at all for a while. Just a gross, soupy, wet, flavorless mess.

This time really disappointed! The guy making my burrito folder each side of the burrito about 1/4 of it which was all tortilla making the burrito half the size, then he put culmp cheese on top that never melted! Mention to register employee who said that’s how he folds it! Maybe she should show or tell lhim that’s not how you make a burrito . She did offer to remake but already waited and was in a hurry! If I go back he won’t be making my next one if I go. Back!!!

When I went in I was greeted by a friendly young gentleman working the counter. There was one couple sitting down and just me no other customers and I can see why. I asked for the Wednesday special which they didn’t know what all came with it so I was reading the pamphlet telling them what was included with it. I then get to the rice towards the end so I can ask for brown rice. The rude girl who made my plate put rice in my plate without asking which kind i wanted. I didn’t see her add any rice just the tostada and the meat and cheese . They argued with me that rice was already in the bowl so the employee looked under my food and said there is rice. By the way rice I didn’t want I wanted brown rice. I am commenting just to say be more kind you never know what someone is going through. I was rushed and there was literally no one in the restaurant. I will never come back. But shout out to the young man working the register great customer service although he didn’t put my top on my sauce so it spilled every where so I paid an extra 50 cent for nothing!! Also to stop using the end of the salad and actually put salad in the bowl. Those hard end parts are disgusting. Do not come to this location!!! I was warned and didn’t listen!!!! attached is the pic of all the end of the lettuce super gross . Not worth wasting your money

We recently had a disappointing experience with an online order from Cafe Rio. My husband ordered the pollo asado quesadilla, expecting grilled chicken, but was unpleasantly surprised by how sweet it was, likely due to sugar or honey, which wasn’t mentioned in the description. It was so sweet that it was inedible and ended up going straight to the trash, leaving my husband without dinner because of the terrible food. Additionally, I ordered a salad with shredded lettuce, but the lettuce was not shredded at all—it was poorly chopped, as was the lettuce in my daughter’s meal, despite her also selecting shredded lettuce. Although she was given a drink for waiting ten minutes for rice, the overall inaccuracy of the order was frustrating. To add to this, my husband’s drink was missing entirely. Spending $46 on a meal with such poor preparation and flavor was incredibly disappointing. We didn’t expect the pollo asado to be sweet, and there was no mention of this when ordering. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had, especially since I now have to shred the lettuce myself. The service and quality need serious improvement.

NEVER EVER order online from this place!!!! It will become the most inconvenient transaction of your life. We waited 40 mins for our food as we watched countless people walking in being helped first! Online orders are PAID customers and should be given priority.
I recommend you disabling online ordering unless you hire a designated person to ensure the “promised time”. This location is absolutely NOT capable of it, very poorly managed.

We ordered our food online at 5:12pm and said pickup at 5:30pm and my wife was standing there for over 45mins waiting and she texted me saying no one even greeted her for over 10 minutes standing there. $30 for the most mid food and terrible service is horrible service and not even giving a discount for just wasting their customers time. Completely wild.

When you walk in, you get a scent of cleaning supplies, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I kinda want an aroma of the food…. I do look for a name tag so I can try to provide accurate information, but the young lady did not have a tag on. She was pleasant enough. The taco itself in my opinion was average. Maybe I should have chosen a different protein because the chicken is soaked in a liquid that makes the tortilla very wet and soggy. The taco does end up falling apart, you can see it in the photo.

I came into the store to get asada nachos at 7pm on a Sunday 11/16/25 and was told it would be a little bit to cook the meat. They asked if I wanted a different meat i said declined. I think when I told him I would wait that surprised them. My server then told another worker id wait and they then said they weren’t going to be making any more asada. The crazy thing isI wasn’t going to complain that they were running out of beans and were scraping the last little bit out of the dish.Just to give me, instead of pouring a fresh batch. But then to tell me, you’re not going to cook some meat, and I didn’t mind patiently waiting is unprofessional. The person who refused to prepare the meat wouldn’t even look up at me. After I said i did not want the nachos , I heard someone say “oh he’s leaving” not one person tried to stop me. Im pretty sure they didn’t care.
