Once you get something you like here you stick to it! But I have changed it up and still usually like everything! One of my faves has been the sweet pork barbacoa burrito enchilada style with hot sauce! Last time I got a delicious salad with grilled chicken, rice and pinto beans with the house dressing of course! It’s so big and filling, it fed me for two meals!

Great concept – fast casual Mexican. First time here, great experience, would come back. Staff was friendly. Food was fresh and tasty! Shredded chicken was good, lots of vegetables and other options to choose from to add. I got a bowl – delicious. And try their craft lemonade, Mint Limeade was awesome!!

We love the food at Café Rio and the customer service is exemplary. If we have an issue, it is dealt with fairly and quickly. We miss the eleotes, but we will live. The rewards program is great, as well. It’s a win-win!

I go here often to eat tacos because they are one of the best places to eat” taco Tuesday” in Flagstaff ; today when I when in I asked for some limes for my tacos and only got one 1⃣ so I asked for some more because I had 2 tacos and wanted one for each and the white girl serving us had a bad attitude and said that they were in the tacos so I had to dig through my tacos looking for the limes because I didn’t want to eat it just squeeze it on top of my food. So after asking her multiple times for more I only found 1⃣ lime for two tacos and was not happy about this. If I ever go back here I’ll bring my own limes so I don’t have to get attitude from a employee. They ain’t the only place in town that makes good food I could name at least 5 other places that serve amazing tacos / Mexican food that I can go eat at and get what I ask for.

Man I used to go here every other day, I went in the other day and come to find out they took away the habanero sauce, and they said “oh we have a new sauce it’s better” I tried it, and it’s cold, the first bummer, also it’s sweet has a weird flavor: not what I’m used to. The hot habenero sauce imo, was the best that’s all I got, when it comes back so will I and my review will also change. Also to add on to my review the lady with all the face piercings is always stuck up and rude.

Saturday I witnessed the manager being unfriendly to the customer behind me. The customer saw something he wanted, he pointed to it and called it vegetables but the manager insisted it wasn’t vegetables and kept repeating it wasn’t vegetables but beans! And he was like trying to get the customer to say it “right”… yes it did have some black beans & corn… it was a salsa or cowboy caviar… but who cares what the customer is calling it, all of it is technically vegetables so he wasn’t wrong, the manager was just being rude! And the customer walked off, I should have done the same! Definitely not customer service oriented!

I visited them 2-3 times since the last review.Everything is back to normal: decent size portions, fresh ingredients, impeccable service, staff is friendly and attentive to customers’ requests.

The girl who made my order was not friendly and rushed me thru it even though there were nobody else in line (neither in front of me nor behind). She was very skimpy on the steak and guacamole. When I asked for some more guacamole she said it would be an extra charge. I literally got just half of the scoop. I think this visit is gonna be last at this location.

It’s alright. Good place to stop to grab a quick bite when passing by, but nothing extraordinary.

Let’s be honest, it’s the same business plan as Chipotle and Qdoba. Was just as good as they are. The people working were nice. Good customer service. My bowl was exactly like I would get and either of the three places, which was good. Recommended for that casual dining experience.

We are frequent visitors to Cafe Rio throughout the western US. We (unlike some of our snobbish friends) think Cafe Rio is better than the larger national chain. This experience met our expectations as far as food temperature & freshness, cleanliness, and speed of service. One area we were a bit surprised about were the prices. We live in the Vegas Valley, and our Cafe Rio’s prices are about $1.50 ish cheaper on most entrees. It’s not a big deal, but why would Flagstaff be more expensive than Vegas?

Food is pretty good. The staff is one of the worst in town. Always so rude. Needs help big time on customer interaction and customer service. It’s like going through a TSA checkpoint.
