This has happened multiple times.
The food I get through the app for pickup is nothing compared to when I sit in line and order it face-to-face.
Pick up line is always way past the timeline that the app gives me.
After making this review I just realized my kids got pico de gallo when I asked for corn salsa.

I will not be coming back. This is the worst automotive apology I’ve ever got. Costa vida or Durango’s will be getting my business for now on.

Note: I’m a fan of cafe Rio so my opinion on their food is bias b/c I’ve enjoyed their food for decades now.

We came to this location on a Saturday at 1pm. Although the line was wrapped into the 2nd lane (first one being in front of the food to order) it was moving quickly.

The woman making the fresh tortillas was nice enough to offer us a fresh tortilla. The employee doing the next station did give me a sample of the Pollo Asado which was a great choice for my burrito.

The tables were clean, utensils were well stocked, bathroom was clean and soap dispensers full in the men’s bathroom.

The parking lot can get full as it is shared with other retailers in this location.

Would recommend and would come back when I’m back in St. George.

2 Stars: Didn’t hit my standards
3 Stars: Average (nothing special)
4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star.

Worst cafe Rio ever. Huge cafe Rio fan but will never go to this one again, if I could have given it a negative rating I would have. I waited 45 minutes to get to the counter to find they don’t have anymore vegetables or guacamole, the two things I specifically came for. This was early in the evening, and they said they wouldn’t be making anymore. If they’re not gonna be making anymore they should at least post what they’re missing, so you don’t waste 45 minutes in line just to get turned back. The management of this location should realize that on one of the busiest weekends of the year, maybe they should prepare extra to accommodate. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. This has happened 5 times at this location, shame on me for coming back. I really hope management can figure out how to accommodate larger crowds and not make it such a bad experience. Next time I’m going to chipotle or costs vida.

We love cafe Rio and try to go to taco Tuesday every week because it’s such a great deal!
I can’t tell if the person who prepared this didn’t know the difference between cilantro and lettuce, but I definitely had to take off most of the cilantro!

Extremely disappointed in our last few visits. My husband picked up our dinner last night and they had spilled the ranch all in the bag. Rather than giving a new bag they said they just threw a new ranch in there. My husband asked multiple times for the receipt and didn’t receive it so we did not even get our points for the app. The food was pretty good but I’m very upset with the service lately.

Its sad when you have to delete a 2 star review to drop it to a 1 star review. Tonight’s experience was the worst. We waited in line for around 40 minutes to be told, at the beginning of their dinner rush, they didn’t have any steak available as they were pulling it off the grill. We were told that steak was for to go orders and wasn’t available. Needless to say it would have been better to go to Coasta Vida, so if you want to go to an unprepared restaurant that will take forever, Cafe is your choice. Save your time and go to Coasta and so you can get what you want to eat.

But my most recent experience has made this review well worth writing. As a business owner myself, I know how important reviews are. Good or bad. Just has quite honestly got to be the most dysfunctional restaurant I have ever gone to or ordered from in my life. The last three times I have ordered from this restaurant have been wrong.. not that big of a deal, however when I have to re-order something a second time in one night you’d think they would make sure it was absolutely right the second time.
When I re-ordered, I even added extra notes for my delivery driver to double check, and the order was wrong AGAIN. Like so incredibly wrong, not to mention, the quality of the food itself is absolutely inedible. If you like your rice to taste like mashed potatoes, and have a thing for green slime soaked tortillas, you might love it,

Absolutely terrible. They got every single order wrong. Not just for my order but the people in front and both groups behind me. They ran out of pork while making my burrito, like after the very first scoop, but instead of getting more they just kept going with my dish. So I have a pork burrito with ONE piece of meat. The staff were completely overwhelmed and while I was there made three different dishes that they then threw out. The garbage was overflowing, and the bathroom was a mess. They were out of everything. We got kids meals and they forgot the chips and all of the drinks were out. They then over charged me for the meal by 40%. I have never had such a bad experience getting food. Stay away!

This is my first ever review!!! My order was supposed to be ready at 8:40 and I waited in the lobby for 30+ minutes while this whole time there was no line I could’ve hopped in line and would’ve taken way less time and it might’ve been made correctly. They ran out of some stuff which I understand. I also work in fast food but my order was still just made wrong. There seemed to be reoccurring issues. I overheard a few other people with pick-ups standing by me. Don’t order online.

Did an online order for my wife and myself. She ordered 2 tacos a la carte, I ordered a fire grilled chicken salad with black beans and rice. When I showed up, no one was at the counter and my order was sitting in a bag, ready to go. It didn’t necessarily look off, so I grabbed it and left. When I got back, they had placed the black beans and rice in a tray with my wife’s tacos. They put my tortilla on the side instead of as the base of the salad. The salad included only pinto beans, and a scope of shredded chicken that was full of the juice it is cooked in. So not only was the meat and beans wrong in my salad, they had “deconstructed” it and had my rice and beans with my wife’s order.
