What happened to Cafe Rio? Its been a while since I have been to one and the whole atmosphere of this place is ruined not to mention the food has really gone downhill. We had to order at the kiosk and to do their 2 for $20 its a whole ordeal. Already not a great experience then we tried to find a seat and every single table was dirty. Like chunks of food dirty. Then when the food actually came (through a prison like slot from the back) it was barely editable. The tortilla was not the soft homemade cheesy kind I remember it was thick and cold like they got it from a bag from Walmart. Then the chicken was tasteless and full of water. My meal was more of a soup than salad. RIP Cafe Rio. Thank goodness there is a Costa Vita right up the street.

Definitely not into the kiosk service, I’m all for the personal interaction. My husband and I got our normal orders, and we were disappointed when we got our food and it had a bunch of random lettuce cores and full tortilla chips in the salad.

This specific location was amazing! The meat:lettuce ratio was satisfactory. Food was fresh and juicy! I live near one that often disappoints. My husband and I stopped at this one on the way to an event and we were very happy with the food. Restaurant is clean.

I do NOT care for the kiosk style of ordering at this South Ogden location. I like my tortilla for a salad crispy. There is no way to add this on the kiosk. I prefer my beans drained. No way to add this on the kiosk. I ask for shredded lettuce and get chopped. I ask for guacamole and get none. This wouldn’t happen if I could walk along and watch the person making my salad, like the original style cafe Rio’s. I have tried this location a couple times and they have NEVER followed my order correctly. Please go back to the original style of ordering at this location or I’ll have to either drive further to find one that still has personal interaction or go to costa vida.

Not a big fan of the set up here. The kiosk move is not a great idea. I understand the idea and that it probably allows the employees to just focus on making the food, which made me think it would be faster, but that was far from the case. There were about 4 orders in front of mine, but it still took 25 minutes to make which blew my mind. Then they said my masterpiece was ready for about 10 minutes even though it wasn’t. I don’t if the drivethru gets more attention or what, but another gentleman before me was waiting just as long. As of right now, just drive the extra 3 minutes down the road to costa vida as it will be much quicker.

Employees were great after the Kiosk didn’t work for us three times.
Don’t bother comming here, this is a Kiosk only location and Kiosks are 5x slower to order on.
We just wanted to eat out as a family and whoever it was high-up in district management that decided the layout of this store ruined that. Will not return.

This location is terrible. We’ve come here a few times and every time it’s been awful; and we’ve gotten sick this time around. The food tasted sour. We will never return to this location. We only got a partial refund of an order over $50. Submitting information to the health inspector website online now. Stay away.

Tired of giving this location a shot. Always out of something, always forgetting something. We live close and almost every time we have gone in the last year it’s just been one thing or another. Today 10/20, went and was told we are out of rice. Like that almost comes with every meal. How can you be out of it? Obviously the Owners/management do not run this place well and do not care. Save your money go down the street to their competitor much better Service.
