The restaurant was well kept, food was fresh and delicious, lettuce was chopped the proper size, portions were generous, and the staff was friendly. We came to this location specifically for the poor reviews because I was so surprised by them. Our experience was a good one! We will definitely come again to enjoy the amazing food and value we know Cafe Rio to serve, in this location and others.

My Husband and I, came in on Saturday (December 27th 2025) and had gone through the drive thru and ordered two bowls and when we received our order I had seen our orders were made wrong so we went inside and told someone and the guy who made our food apologized and gave us two free drinks then had told us there would be a wait on rice (they were remaking our bowls) so we sat and waited and when we got up some girl working that had long ish black hair and wore her hair in a braid started making our food but was so disrespectful, she was rolling her eyes and asked if we wanted cheese and we said yes and she completely ignored it and when we said we want cheese she rolled her eyes again and muttered “of course” under her breath in the rudest way. Then the way she kept asking “what else do you guys want” was so disrespectful with the glare she was giving us as if we were the ones who messed up our own orders. The guy who made our order was kind and polite about it, but the girl had horrible attitude towards the customers and was just rude looking in general with the worst attitude. This was a horrible experience and will not be coming back, the food was overcooked and soggy to end with.

Literally stood IN FRONT of the manager for 15 minutes (5 feet away) while he pretended to do soemthing – never asked me if I needed help EVER. 25 minutes later, I asked a worker about my online order and they were still working on it. The manager still pretended to not know how to manage. He’s the older one with skinny jeans / salt and pepper beard – if a general manager happens to read this. Please work on the customer service, this is the only location lacking in that area. To not even GREET a customer is crazy. Find new management. sincerely, @TheBoiseFoodie

They literally mess up my online order every time order. It’s been 10 different times where I order a veggie salad with no grilled veggies and they continue to add grilled veggies even though the order doesn’t have it. And talked with the manager one time about it and he said he would make sure that they would train people on it and it still is happening. Also if you eat inside with your young child, the high chairs are always dirty.

Terrible conditions! Every table was dirty in the location except one. The trashes were completely full so I figure they were busy. Nope! There was 6 employees with one girl working while they stood around chatting. The one that was working was great and saved a star. The rest were doing nothing. Then it gets better. More employees came. But they just came to chat today rather than work. Two females took the bathrooms hostage. One came with a mess of TP on the ground. The sink was also dry so she did not wash her hands before going to behind the counter and starting her shift. We will not be returning to this location any time soon.

Food was ordered online and delivered in less than 6 minutes but somehow the food was cold in spots, it wouldve been great if that wasnt the case. Such a shame.

I wish I took pictures. All the salsa and beans sitting in the heating element had dry crusty tops, it looked like the food was placed out there yesterday and they left everything on overnight. The avocado that they brought from the back because they were out of guac also looked like it had been sitting out on the counter overnight, it was brown. I think brown was their favorite color because that was also the color of the mint lemonade. They only fresh looking food was the lettuce. Trash was overflowing in the trash cans. None of the tables were clean. When we walked in there only were two other pairs of custom there already seated and eating, no one in line, and a lot of employees (about 10) behind the counter, but none of the staff was working on cleaning or up keep of the dining area even though it obviously need it and was not a rush. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, all employees look like they had a task so maybe there was something else needed than clinging the dining area.
