Oh my god, I love the food here; it’s pretty authentic, very tasty Mexican food. Last time, I had a taco bowl (which they let you customize) and it was delightful. Though an employee berated my girlfriend just for being unsure of what to get. That was pretty unpleasant but we moved on and enjoyed the delicious food. Would totally recommend, unless you’re unfortunate enough to have that guy taking your order.

It’s a decent Mexican style chain, very similar to all the rest. Went for carryout and got a burrito and quesadilla. It was a lot of food for the price. The aluminum makes it easy to reheat but next time I will skip the sour cream and use my own at home after reheating. I’m sure it would be fine dining in

Very good food. Chipotle style kind of place but with better ingredients imo. The steak had full flavor and the sweet pork barbacoa was delicious. Definitely becoming one of my favorite go to spots for quick Mexican food that doesn’t break the budget.

Let’s start with that 3 stars is not directed at the food. The food is delicious!! The handmade tortillas and the meat are some of my favorite “fast food” versions of Latin food.
The 3 stars is strictly for this particular store.
I came in and was taking a few photos and videos to review and the ladies were being very rude. Short and unkind in their tones to the teenage girl I had brought along with me. (Who was EXTREMELY polite) as I came to place my order I stopped taking photos as I felt maybe they were annoyed by that and was trying to give benefit of the doubt.
Still very rude and short. There were dropped dressing cups in the condiments/salsa •left• in there untouched. The lady serving me dropped a dressing cup and just chucked it very sloppily at the trash can behind her and it landed on the floor with a few other cups that had missed the trash can.
The drink station was dirty and low stocked The floor was peppered with varying amounts of trash. (Ie straws, straw wrappers, pieces of napkins) I should’ve zoomed in better to the floor.
We were there for 45 minutes
Extremely slow- not one time did any team member come out to sweep the floor, check the drink station, or wipe down a table.
Not very clean and not great service.
Food delicious!! I hope to have a better experience next time.

Like dog food. Something is not right. The pinto beans were hard. The shredded beef was soggy and salty.Not good at all. I definitely won’t be going back

The shredded chicken has been really disappointing the past 2 times I went here.
Instead of longer strands of chicken (like it used to be), it’s been more like mushy, watered down minced chicken. Very unappetizing and unsatisfying to eat.
I think this location does a great job with most other things, so I’m leaving this review in hope they fix this.

This place was great! Fun atmosphere, with large quantities of great food. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept. I was on a business trip and stopped by here for dinner. I got a veggie taco salad, and it was loaded with all kinds of stuff. I could have used more avocado, but their dressing was really tasty and made up for the smallish avocado scoops. Good service!

Never had it till I came here to Maryland. Incredible food and service. We go every week! The staff always smiles and talks to me when I talk to them. Super polite and again.. I love the food!! I’ve never had a bad experience!

They always seem to get something wrong in the order. Also, the workers are just rude.
Portions are really good even if you order online, but check your bag to make sure it’s right. One thing that’s silly now, you have a limit on the amount of toppings when you order online. You should be able to get what you want – chipotle doesn’t limit you. A few times the lettuce/cilantro has been rotten so be careful on that too.
Always get the salad – it is huge, comes with tortilla. If you get it on the side (or pay for extras on the side) you can just make your own burrito or tacos. One salad can pretty much feed two people.
Beef barbacoa is the best meat they have, moist and good flavor. The salad dressings are also super good- the creamy one and the vinaigrette.
Overall I like cafe rio but they need to get their service in check.
