In town for meeting. Rolled by Rico’s and decided to try it. So glad we did. Nathan was our server and was super friendly and attentive. Made some recommendations. The adobada taco with crispy FLOUR tortilla was one. So good and plenty of flavor (resembled birria seasoning). Salsa is awesome too. Next time in town will be back for sure.

The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. He asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I said yes and told him how much. He started making very rude comments like: I wouldn’t clean the table for that much, you should stay home to eat, I’m just telling you how I feel.
He had no idea if money had been left on the table or not by other members of my party, nor was it his business.
I’ve had several people tell me that they won’t eat there anymore bc he’s rude. I will not be returning.

The salsa is great! One of the best salsas I’ve had. I had the Chile Relleno and tamale plate. It was on point. If your ever in Eastland definitely worth a stop to check it out.

I’m from Dallas and I wish this place was located near me. I have been there at least 20 times, on my way Heading down I20 west.
I have never once had a bad meal. I love their food, the chips, and their salsa. The service and food at most of the Tex-Mex places near me has gone downhill food is cold, no taste.
I highly recommend this if you want some good Mexican food.

As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised when my waitress, Sharon, informed me the green sauce I asked had pork in it. I’m not used to people being that thoughtful, especially in rural towns where they usually look down on vegetarians.
Red sauce it was and it was delicious. Chips and salsa were good (not the best I’ve ever had but it did the job).
Place is bigger than it looks from the front. Could be good for groups.
When your table is done, just go up to the front and pay the cashier.

The staff is VERY friendly and have been very attentive. Not too busy, but it’s 1:15 on a Tuesday, so that’s to be expected. I had the hamburger steak, and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. A very good meal! Very happy I chose to take a chance on this gem!
