We had a unique situation for our visit. I called one week in advance asking about whether the location was kid friendly and mentioned that I would plan to stop by the following Thursday with 10-15 people (kids included) to play some games and eat dinner. When we arrived, we found to our surprise that the place was to be privately booked at 7pm. Not a big deal as we arrived at 5pm but this unfortunately meant that the cafe was not advertised to serve food until 6pm (and in fact, did not serve food at all while we were there).
Despite this negative experience, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating of us – probably the nicest folks I have encountered in the restaurant / bar business. Although the atmosphere was leaned more towards adults, the kids had a blast playing games. If you are looking for a place with good music, a cool vibe, and good drinks, this is the place for you!
Really hope there is a way to improve communication regarding private bookings and changes to the cafe’s schedule in the future.

Not a full service restaurant. More of a parlor feel where you stand at the counter and order. Food was okay. The Grilled Cheese sandwich was amazing. The ramen looks beautiful and I could tell that they took their time preparing it. IMHO they need to offer kick-up packets for those who enjoy zesty dishes.
I know that they want to be different, but you have got to offer one or two American staple dishes like chicken fingers, hot dogs or hamburgers. Families can’t come if their kids can’t find anything to eat on the menu. Even Mexican restaurants have American fare. You must believe me, your kids would love this place. The vibe is off the charts!

It wasn’t what I expected from the street. Thinking it was your normal type of cafe or coffee shop. Background music is heavy metal, it’s great for gamers. Plays or 80’s movies in the TV. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have an allergy to bell peppers and they left out the sweet peppers to be safe. The Ramen was soooo good. I got the High Noon and my mother got the White Night. The cold black tea is very good. Will definitely try it again.

This is an incredible new treasure in our neighborhood! That food is just amazing as is the tea. Chimera Raman bowl is a hands down winner and the brisket is perfection. Can’t wait to bring friends back here. So fun! Arcade, atmosphere and food a repeat for sure!!

So fun! Great lookin’ sandwiches and the BBQ pork belly is amazing! Haven’t tried the ramen yet, I was still on a full lunch when I visited. Next time, though! Update to follow.

Been back a few more times now and have tried a few ramen bowls [I really love The Moon Beam! Just add a lil soy sauce and salt]. The Roast Beast is really good and that bread is O-M-G good
We played Final Fight on the arcade and Connect 4 at our table while we waited on our food. We’ve gone weekdays and a Friday evening at 5 and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Maybe people come in a lil later and I hope so because this place deserves the love!
The waitstaff said they plan on expanding events a bit in the near future!

We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was closed with a sign outside that said they were only open for events. Sad they can’t keep open daily for the food bc it’s so good!

This spot is a great addition to the Goodyear Heights neighborhood. It’s got good food, cool decor & fun video games to play for free. I look forward to seeing some entertainment there in the future, such as live music or art shows. If you’re in the area or live in the area, stop in to try the food or play some old games.

have been waiting for this place to open!! super cool venue space, free play arcade & pool table as well as a good variety of different food options. have been back a few times since the grand opening, the sweet heat sandwich and tropical green iced tea were very tasty, very different compared to anything else in akron would highly recommend!

I was so excited to try this new place. I was not disappointed. It smells amazing as soon as you walk in. I do wish they had soda. I’m not a big fan of tea or coffee with my meal. I will be ordering again.

Not sure how to express myself on this one. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, could easily spend an evening there drinking and playing. 10/10 on the interior. Service was phenomenal, Nathan was very helpful. The food is what hurts. Not sure what I was expecting but there’s no way these ramen bowls are sustainable for the business. Honestly, a local burger joint and fries would be A O K here. Local enough to walk that people will like and be content with. My ramen bowl lacks substance, flavor, and authenticity. Others have raved about it, just my experience. Picture for reference of the sunrise bowl. 9/10 people going to or from the movie theatre done want a noodle bowl with mystery flavors. People want familiar.
