We ordered chicken and beef, thought made it well done but it was bloody. Grill chicken was like in soup…strange but we eated. Salad and fries was extremy good.
Service and personal was kind, and food came in a short time. Kitchen smelt all the restaurant, need find solution for air conditioning.

Amazing, incredibly friendly vibe as if you’re being served by family. There’s definitely passion from the owners. The food is incredible, together with some friends we shared the Salmon, Steak with strawberry sauce and two sandwiches, everything was incredible.
Then the staff, someone forgot their bag and the owner (?) literally ran after them through the rain to make sure they got it.
No complaints, will absolutely be back.

Came in for lunch with very little expectations and was positively surprised. Cosy place, very welcoming. Great food. No standard menu, you are told of the choices and all sound very nice. Helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely come back

Omg, WOW! In a place where everything looks tourist trap, this is a hidden gem! They don’t have a written menu, so a really nice waiter explains all the options to you. It was hard to choose as everything sounded amazing! When the food came, it was just out of this world fantastic! Highly recommend it!

If you look on their homepage, you may see the menu with their regular dishes. When you dine in, they will explain their menu, including the specials of the day, at the table. What great communication!

I have to say that for the quality of the food and service you pay a very fair price, especially for being in the city center. We had soup salad and dessert but the other warm dishes we saw pass by, looked as wonderful as what we ate. Everything was really tasty and the wine and beer was good and well priced.

Absolutely loved this place! Super friendly staff, a cozy family atmosphere, and no written menu they just tell you what’s fresh that day.
We started with two amazing soups, then had steaks one with herby butter, the other topped with goat cheese. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
And that PEAR PIE… omg. Legit next-level. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had!

Yes this place deserves all the good reviews. Service was excellent and the menu is always different, which the servers will describe from memory. Everything was a hit. The food was delicious. I wished I had another day in Amsterdam just so I could come back again!
