Wonderful Quaint Restaurant tucked away in the Kings Park area, right on the corner . My two kids and husband have had countless dinners and lunches at Cafe’ Red and we have never been disappointed with our meal, nor the service this family owned restaurant provides. Any pallet can detect the food is always freshly made. Fried items taste clean and flavorful not like they have been fried in old or over used oil. The sauces are delectable which complement the entree chosen for. If you’re looking for a fabulous family owned place to dine, thats serves real food , and your around the kings park area Cafe Red would be a really good choice . I promise… Blessings Always

This happens to be our “new” favorite restaurant, either happy hour at the bar or sitting down for dinner, you can never go wrong! Everything is cooked to perfection and the service is always 5 Stars, Jessica is fantastic as well as all the other ladies ensuring a truly pampered restaurant experience. Scott behind the bar not only makes the best cocktails but programs all the music you hear while dining, he’s a true wizard!

Had a wonderful 80th Mothers Day brunch with Mom. We had reservations and were met warmly. Service was great. Staff all looked happy to be there. Food was good, with fresh ingredients. I would very much go back when I’m back on the Island.

I had my daughters baby shower here and I could not have been happier. Having a personalized space and very attentive wait staff made the party run smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious. Nora was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating to all requests.

We came in for a quick weekday lunch with a friend. Three adults total plus a three year old. Lovely place to eat! And the food was excellent. Pictures: Grilled cheese with mushroom and barley soup of the day; salad with crab cake; kid’s pancake order with sausage.
(Of particular note: Those pancakes were delightful.)

Lovely little restaurant. Went to dinner at around 6pm on a Sat evening, and it was nearly full.
Tuna Tartare was excellent – I could have used more wasabi, but I LOVE wasabi. So it was likely plenty for the average person.
Lobster Bisque had chunks of different veggies and lobster.
The Frites Mixto was excellent. Using thinly sliced lemons as part of the dish was an unexpected refreshing surprise.

Great experience. Good food, drink, service and atmosphere. Don’t expect a table on weekends without a reservation. Something for everyone on the menu. Enjoyed craft cocktails Down by the Dock and Cucumber Martini. Pork Shank Osso Bucco & Veal Siena were very good. Looking forward to going back to try duck, fish or a pasta dish. Rumor has it their chickens are homegrown exclusively for them and their restaurant cousins. A Must try

We sat outside, it was nice. Parking area is small, terrible. Food was impeccable, so delicious and unique. I ordered the hay and straw, which was fresh pasta w mushrooms. And my husband ordered the chicken francese. The pasta was insane, full of such tasty mushrooms, all cooked to perfection. The chicken francese was a little too delicately treated for the comfort food dish that it is. But I think I’ve found a new local favorite. Our server was so friendly and kind and attentive.
