-We wanted to have a work happy hour here for a party of about 15 people and I saw on their website that you need to make a reservation for larger parties. I made a reservation on yelp for 5 people (the maximum yelp will allow) since they weren’t open for me to call and give our accurate number.

-I called the day before our event and spoke with someone over the phone. I gave my name and the updated amount of people and he said we were all set. I received two confirmation emails for my reservation.

-I received a phone call the day of my reservation asking for me to confirm (again) and a text. The text said to either confirm by calling or texting that number. I confirmed through text pretty immediately.

-4 of us arrived at 3:30pm, the place was locked and closed. I called the number that called me earlier and no one picked up. When someone did answer, he said they would send someone over to help us. Someone from the cannabis spot came over and told me that I didn’t confirm and that they were closed. After me being adamant that I did confirm, he reluctantly opened the doors. It was dead silent in there, the guy seemed irritated with us and then told us they would only have beers and shots. We left and had our happy hour at Honor Bar and they accomodated us and treated us like we weren’t a nuisance.

-All in all, it was a bad experience and the staff (at least the one person who talked to us) seemed annoyed by our presence and appeared to want me to be apologetic for their mistake. We were just a group of teachers ready to spend some money and decompress. Terrible customer service.

EDIT:
The response below is isinaccurate and again, doesn’t take accountability. I was contacted for a confirmation, not to be told the bar was closed. And again, I did confirm. There were 4 of us and every one of us felt the same way about the man that showed up to “help” us. He was rude, unapologetic and made us all feel uncomfortable and like nuisances. In the future, just be upfront and apologetic if you care about the experience of your customers.

This place is amazing. Pool tables are clean. They actually wash the pool balls. Full bar with great drink options. Food is amazing for a spot like this and apparently only going to get better. Customer service was amazing. I would make reservations if possible because this place is going to catch on. This is a must hit spot.

Came around 9pm. There was enough pool tables that we didn’t have to wait. The staff are very friendly and personable. William was very nice. The patatas bravado I had was really good!

Well first thing they do say is “welcome in, looking a table to play?” I say yes
Next thing they say
“ok ID and credit card”
They pre charge 50 bucks on your card before you start playing then deduct from the time you spend. ($15 an hour rate) Never have i had that happen.
Could they be a bit more friendly? Yes sure. I will prob will look for another place to shoot pool.

Great service! Attentive, friendly and hospitable! The food was fresh and delicious. Pool table was good and the place was spacious. Clean bathrooms. My comments are, gotta have a bigger alcohol selection or at least offer what you have on the menu. For a Friday night I think the lovely lady attending to everyone from check in, bar tending and serving did a great job all be herself! You are lucky to have her. This is coming from a small business owner that knows all the struggles. When my people call out, I am there to cover so Please get her some help 😉
Another thing to note is the security guard was just wonderful in helping us find a space to park our van and great attitude in keeping it all safe. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure! Thank you for the hospitality and great vibes!

Went to Café Rack for date night on a Saturday around 7pm and had a great time! It wasn’t crowded, which made for a chill, relaxed vibe. Prices were very reasonable, and the gentleman who helped us was super friendly and welcoming. We don’t usually play pool, but ended up having so much fun. The food was delicious, and they offered non-alcoholic beer at the bar. Definitely a go-to, can’t wait to come back!

They probably have the best happy hour in the Emeryville area, friendly staff, and great billiard tables (all regulation size?). Food is fresh and cooked to order. Dispensary adjacent.

We had a great time. First we visited Ohana, then visited during their soft open. The bartender Victor took good care and crafted delicious Old Fashions, prepared like a martini. A revelation!

The chef came out to talk to us about the farm to table food they curate and serve. Wonderful! We had the Wagu beef burger, the quinoa salad (pictured) & the Mediterranean sampler as our appetizer.

We’ll be back!

Big sports bar, lots of pool tables. Food is ok. Wings are rather small but good.

It’s quite loud with generic 90s music, and the tables are missing almost all the equipment. Be sure you look at the table you want because some are pristine and others are very soiled. It’s what I would call reasonably priced, if you can find parking
