Such a great place. I often compare all pizza to my experiences in New York and this completely holds up. Amazing service. Amazing dough that’s homemade. The tiramisu was to die for. I really appreciate the detail and the effort to making very fresh homemade Italian food. Highly recommend

Excellent experience all the way around. The pizza was exceptional. We had the Primo which is made with a white sauce. They use a stone oven, so the crust had a wonderful char. For dessert, we had the Mousse Cake and loved it.

This is a great stop for food in Bardstown.

Absolutely fantastic! Sorry that in the food pics they are partially eaten. I couldn’t wait to dig in! All the staff are super sweet and the pizza crust for their pizzas are the absolute perfect crusts. Not too thick, not too thin. Just incredible! It can get a little bit noisy in there, so if you’re sensitive to crowd noise just be aware.

Great Location, and super nice staff and serice! We came on our last day craving a nice pizza, and it was very good! The place is busy, and we called ahead for a table, which saved us; highly recommend this! The table next to us had pasta, and the portions seemed huge. My wife and I were able to finish our pizza (surprised us), partially because it is a very thin crispy crust, which is very nice. You could tell locals ate here, everyone seemed to know each other, always a good sign.

Great pizza, amazing bourbon selection and wonderful espresso plus the tiramisu melts in your mouth. The owner is amazing and engages with the customers. Plus the staff is super helpful in making recommendations. I highly recommend the primo primo and the Santa Lucia. Cafe Primo is a hidden gem in Bardstown and we will definitely be back.

Decided to try out a local place. While the inside could use some upgrades, the service and food were great. Brie and Bella took amazing care of us. My husband got the BBQ chicken pizza and I got a pasta dish. Huge portion and so tasty! We ended with yummy desserts. Oh. And they have a full bar which added to our great meal. Thank you!

Unfortunately the pepperoni pizza was very burnt, but still served. The crust was so burnt we couldn’t eat one of the best parts. Another pizza was ordered wrong. They did correct it. We ordered 3 pizzas and a Salad. Our salad was delicious and fresh. The pizzas were great but one very burnt. We were told the ranch was homemade… not sure but definitely tasted like hidden valley. Our server seriously was behind the bar while the rest of the staff did everything. The hostess was amazing and she seriously probably talked to every table more than the rest of the staff. Our server was oblivious to our burnt pizza. He had no idea we were done. Not attentive. The rest of the staff was great. Even though we had a burnt pizza , the rest of the food was delicious. Just letting you know that if the hostess is running the show there is issues with your servers;)

Found was awesome, I suggest the Primo. The white sauce is so good. Also, I had a delicious whiskey sour made with Bulleit Bourbon. Shoutout to the bartender! I definitely will be back to try some pasta next!

EDIT: We did NOT book last minute, learn how to spell — Chick-Fil-A, my wine glass was empty before the food or appetizer came out, no Napkins were brought out, no to go bag was brought out after multiple times of asking. Not to mention, your lackluster waitresses couldn’t handle food properly, and “accidentally” dropped someone’s food. Reflection needs to be had in your end, especially since you’re the restaurant owner. Reviews are meant to help owners acknowledge where they went wrong and to fix it from happening again. Own up to your actions, and do better.

Horrible service. We were seated ant our table upon entering, no menus were given. We had to wait 10 minutes for menus. Asked for lemon water, it took them 30 minutes to get it. Asked for napkins, never arrived. 45 minutes for an appetizer, 1 hr after for main entree. No one checked in on our table asked if we need refreshments, no apology. Nothing. By far the worse restaurant in bardstown.

They have great pizza. All the servers will come up to you repeatedly and ask you how youre doing which is absolutely great unless you prefer to be left alone while you eat but as accommodating as they are I’m sure they’d give you space if you asked.
