Nice Bistro type restaurant. Very busy dringend lunch but staff was able to keep it in control. Food was out quite quickly despite the full house. Great bavette steak! Will definitely come back.

Incredibly rude staff. If you are a tourist, I would not recommend coming here. We were barely greeted and the staff showed no basic manners. After we had already paid, and while we were still finishing our drinks, a staff member came over and told us in French, despite clearly knowing we spoke English, that we needed to leave the table. Overall, it was a very unwelcoming experience. I definitely won’t be returning and would not recommend this place to non-French speakers.

Nice meal, good vibe and great service. We really enjoyed our lunch at Cafe Poète. The pepper sauce with the bavette was wonderful. Special mention for the chocolate cake.

The food was good. Caesar salad, braised beef and chicken paillard were all delicious! I think the only issue for me was the service was slow. Everyone was super nice, i guess i’m just not accustomed to the laid back parisian service speed. Again, the food was great. I would go back for more of everything i ordered.
