Everything was beyond phenomenal! I told my significant other while enjoying our delicious meal that this is a place I that Gordon Ramsey should come check out so he could actually enjoy his life for once on his show! He could make a new show called, “Kitchen Heaven” and Cafe Pina would star in episode one! Everything was perfection from our entrees to our lattes and even our mimosas! Everything was super clean! The service was fantastic! Highly, highly recommend! It was so good, the only picture I have is our half eaten Strawberry Cheesecake pancakes! Can’t recommend this place enough!

I’m updating my review with more details and another food photo. Great place for breakfast or lunch. The food is good, and the portions are generous. The prices are not cheap, but they are reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Approximately $30 for two people to have breakfast and coffee. Love the wait staff and the environment. Thankfully, there are no televisions in the café. If you have a vegetarian in the group, Café Piña has yummy options for them, too!

Everything was delicious and the service was great! I am constantly impressed by the changing menus and I have to say… this is one of my favorites! I also love attending their private events. Always so much fun and great food in a unique atmosphere. Can’t wait to try out the new Cafe Pina bakery!

Cafe Pina catered the desserts for our wedding, and everything was awesome. Everything was delicious – the brownies were the best brownies I’ve ever had. Everything was decorated lovely and with attention to detail. They were great to work with – professional and prompt.

I always make time to visit Cafe Piña when I come home to visit! Chef Claudia always does a spectacular job. I highly recommend the Fruity Pebbles French Toast and the seasonal fruit. Her French toast is unbelievable, and I’m a pancake person. The seasonal fruit is NOT your typical seasonal fruit from a restaurant that you can tell comes out of a can or was cut up 5 days ago. This fruit is always fresh — I’ve had it 3 times in about 6 months and each time it tastes like it was cut up that morning. It’s so delicious that I’m surprised she doesn’t upcharge for it! I have also ordered a birthday cake from Chef Claudia that was an 11/10 and all of her pastries are delicious too! On my last visit, we had Denisse as our waitress, and she was so friendly and made me a great iced latte. I also love how Cafe Piña has gluten free and vegetarian options so everyone can eat here!

This minority owner business has the best breakfast/lunch food in town! Good service especially for a new restaurant still working on its kinks! And they have a carry out option. Chef Claudia has also catered a ton of our family events!

The waitress was very friendly. Service was quick. Our meal was delicious. I got the flavor of the week pancakes. This week is sticky buns. It was spectacular. I love that the menu changes. You can have a different experience every time you go. This a quant little restaurant tucked into a business office building. Popular with the local crowds. There is also a little bakery next door for some take home treats. They have some gluten free options as well as options for those in a regular diet.

It was a brisk December morning when my wife and I decided to test the buzz we’d heard around the 2022 best breakfast in Dubois county honor recipient, Cafe Pina. Located in the newly gentrified river center area in Jasper, the atmosphere offers a modern feel inside of what is historic downtown.

Absolutely delicious avocado egg toast… sweet, salty, and spicy; but perfectly balanced array of flavors! It’s a must try!

First of all, if you didn’t know this little gem was here, you are most certainly missing out. We were in town for my wife’s 2007 class reunion and stayed right next door at the Fairfield. It’s back around the corner, so pay attention to the signs.
