Amazing Experience at Cafe Petra!
Just had an incredible meal at Cafe Petra Greek & Lebanese Restaurant! This place is a true gem.
The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender and perfectly seasoned with aromatic Mediterranean herbs. The chicken and gyro combination was juicy and well-marinated with amazing depth of flavor.
Everything tasted incredibly fresh – from the crisp vegetables to the vibrant herbs. You can taste the quality in every ingredient. This is authentic, thoughtful cooking that truly honors Greek and Lebanese culinary traditions.
The desserts were the perfect sweet ending – beautifully crafted and not overly sweet.
What really made the experience special was the outstanding hospitality. Owner Mo was fantastic – his passion and genuine care for every guest really shows. Our server Knowledge provided excellent service with great recommendations and made sure we felt completely taken care of.
The combination of exceptional food, generous portions, and top-notch service from Mo and Knowledge made this visit truly memorable. I’m already planning my next trip back!

Our visit was more than I could have ever expected. The cafe itself is beautiful and clean with a friendly atmosphere. When it comes to food *chef’s kiss*! Fresh, fragrant, and delicious. This visit was made even better by our amazing waiter Michael who made us feel welcome and helped us make our lunch selections. With his help, we’re leaving full and happy. 10/10, already planning our next visit!

This restaurant is absolutely delicious, clean, and welcoming!! The chicken shawarma pasta is absolutely flavorful and delicious. The chicken and gyro wrap was huge and stuffed completely with some yummy hummus. The kibbi was extremely amazing and crunchy, the meat was seasoned perfectly. Lastly the baklava was so good and beautifully plated. I recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new or if you love Mediterranean food! It’s definitely worth it!!

This was our first time eating here. The wife and I wanted to try a new spot and lucky for us, this was closest.
We were greeted almost immediately after we sat. The server was very nice and attentive. She checked on us a few times during our visit, which was nice.
The food came out quickly and had a
clean presentation. The salad looked and tasted fresh. I’m not sure what my wife ordered but I had a Chicken Schwarma plate and it was all very flavourful and a good portion. Everything about it was a thumbs up.
The restaurant itself is a very clean, well kept spot. The tables were cleaned and bussed quickly. Also, if you have children, no worries because it’s a family oriented restaurant.
I’m glad we found this place because Mediterranean style food is one of my favorites. We’ll definitely be going back for more! If you’re in the Sugar Land area and craving Mediterranean, I’d suggest giving this spot a try, you won’t regret it.

A hidden gem (maybe not so hidden), very beautiful decor, Lola was so friendly, she recommended the best dishes, and we pretty much ordered everything, the garlic dip was a true standout, the Baklava Cheesecake was amazing, and the Turkish coffee was very smooth. will be returning regularly.

Mel was an incredible server today. From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, friendly, and professional. She made sure our drinks were always full, checked on us at the perfect times without being intrusive, and had a great attitude throughout the entire meal. She was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her positive energy and excellent service truly made our experience better. We will definitely be asking for Mel again on our next visit!

Great Food and the prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking outside. Small dining area, holds about 60 and they have a drive thru window. Seems to have a lot of to-go pickups. The atmosphere was calming and the little chandeliers & wall sconces are beautiful. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!

Just had an amazing meal at this hidden gem in that serves up the perfect mix of Greek & Lebanese flavors! The fried cauliflower with a hint of lemon was on point, the hummus was creamy perfection, and the falafel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. If you’re in the area, definitely give it a try!
