Never really been a breakfast person until I discovered Cafe Perks. My parents and I go every time they are in town.
My go to is the Eggs Benedict with home fries. You wouldn’t expect it to be this good at this cozy diner, but I have never had a better order anywhere else.
The staff is friendly, and love to chat. It’s normally busy on the weekends, but the team does a great job at making sure they leave happy.
You have to check it out!

Café Perks in Sanford is the definition of a hidden gem — the kind of place you could drive past a thousand times and never realize it’s there. It’s extremely mom-and-pop, and in the best way possible. The moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a true local establishment where everybody knows everybody. The service was very friendly, warm, and genuine.
I ordered the omelette, and it tasted like something made right at home — simple, hearty, and homemade. This isn’t a five-star, fancy brunch restaurant, so don’t go in expecting that. What you do get is honest, home-cooked food and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a small-town kitchen.
If you want the comfort of a real home-style breakfast and a place that reminds you of “where the locals eat,” Café Perks is absolutely worth the stop.

Country style atmosphere, food and people. Def. Southern food and hospitality. The B&G is AMAZING and I definitely recommend it if you’re having a craving . They’re closing at the end of the year so won’t be around much longer.

Just terrific. Stopped for breakfast after an early flight into Sanford. We almost drove off because of the look of the building. Glad we didn’t. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was perfect–friendly enough but not bothersome. It’s a must stop.

The reviews are spot on. Allison served us and she was the best! My daughter had Patty melt and it was awesome tasting and big …my husband had biscuits and gravy full breakfast. I had the country omelet which was HUGE. I am so happy we stopped here because good old style country cooking at it’s best

Everything you want in a small town diner. Feels almost the same as it did 20+ years ago with its former name. Go here give them business to keep this gem alive.
Side note. Coffee was GOOD. Something I don’t usually expect to find at diners.

I’d love to give this place a shot. I’ve stopped by on 2 separate occasions, 2 different days and between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, but they were closed both times. I don’t know if they are open or not. If they see this and reply to me, I’ll gladly remove my review here. I hope everything is okay!

Amazing place for a quick breakfast. Delicious food and happy workers. The only thing that would make it better would be colder AC. Family restaurant that truly cares. I will be returning for more.

My order came out totally wrong. Ordered the 2-2-2-2 with French toast, scrambled eggs, non-crispy bacon, and sausage. Received pancakes and burnt bacon. Sent it back finally get everything and had to ask a second time for butter and syrup. French toast made from regular white bread not Texas toast. The worst breakfast I have ever had.
