This is a very popular location, so if you’re meeting someone for brunch at 10:30, show up around 10:15 (or so) to get your name in (Sunday)! It was perfect timing for us today!

The staff was kind and helpful, the food was fantastic & the chai latte was perfection!! If youre in the area, don’t miss out!

I’d probably give it 3 1/2 stars. Let’s start with the food because that was the best aspect of Cafe Patachou. I got the make your own omelet which included 3 inclusions and came with arugula and toast. I got a bacon, chorizo and white cheddar for my inclusions. The chorizo in the omelet was so tasty. The cinnamon sugar sourdough was also so good.
I got the bottomless coffee bar for $5 and the decaf coffee there is very good!! They had half & half and oat milk for creamers. The half & half ran out and I didn’t let am employee know but it was never refilled during the remainder of my breakfast. That was probably around 15 min.
Our server was nice but not attentive.
Every table was taken and the restaurant is small. It was loud in there and I felt like I had to talk quite loud for my friend to hear me. It was just one friend and me.

My partner and I adore Cafe Patachou and have visited other locations many times. When we had the opportunity to try this location while passing through Indy today with our family, we seized it!

Our server Kelsey was a little bit of sunshine on a gloomy day. Her cheerful attitude and the delicious coffee were exactly the pick-me-up we all needed.

The food was excellent as always. The cinnamon toast is nostalgic and sweet. I had an omelette, my partner had the croissant French toast, my gram and mom had soup and a sandwich and dad had chili (he said it’s the best chili he’s ever had, and he’s a chef!) It’s impossible to have a bad meal here.

The place was busy even an hour before closing, the service was fast but not rushed, and the space was clean. Do not sleep on this place — it’s a gem!

We’ve successfully converted three people into Cafe Patachou fans. Mission accomplished.

Make your own omelette = delish! Service was at the right level, portions generous. I had an egg white omelette with chicken, tomato, and Swiss cheese, which came with 2 enormous thick slices of delicious buttered toast. The fruit upgrade hit the spot and was very fresh.

McKenzie omelette, cinnamon toast, potatoes, and mocha were all delicious and prepared perfectly. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is casual and welcoming. We love the quaint Zionsville area too.

Food was very good. Nice restaurant. The service while very friendly, decided to clean my table and throw my food away when I stepped away from the table for a minute. When I returned the server walked up to me with the check. Didn’t ask if I was finished or apologize. Bad service.

The food is amazing. I’ve visited twice. It is a bit loud if you need to have a quite conversation this may not be the place. But, if you are looking for a place with great staff, delicious food, great service at reasonable prices, this is your place!

We visited Café Patachou in Zionsville at 2:20 p.m. and waited about 20 minutes before a server came over—only after we were about to leave. When he did arrive, he put his fingers into our water glasses before taking our order, which was off-putting. We came all the way from Ohio, excited to try their legendary coffee, especially the flavor of the day. While I understand it was close to closing time, we were charged full price for coffee that was lukewarm and clearly brewed quite a while earlier. My omelet eggs were undercooked and led to some digestive discomfort later. Throughout the meal, staff were actively cleaning and sweeping around us, which made it hard to enjoy. The one bright spot was the cinnamon toast, which was very good. Go to the River Crossing location instead, it is the only one that is consistently good.
