Very good restaurant located in Geneva’s old town, right on the Promenade de la Treille, overlooking the Parc des Bastions. Inside, you’ll eat in a magnificent setting, with a vaulted ceiling that is clearly very old. They offer high-quality French cuisine, at somehow reasonable prices. Waiters were very friendly, definitely a good address !

This restaurant impressed us so much that we decided to host our whole wedding reception here and we had no regrets. Their alcohol and food estimations were spot on and the quality of the meals was great. It left all our guests impressed and happy so I highly recommend it.
We recently also ate here for our anniversary where we had a regular dish from the menu and were still very impressed. The menu selection is limited to less than 10 dishes but all of them are quite different and everything we tasted was excellent. Bonus shout out to the great staff for accommodating our rather large and curious dog without any complaints.

Cafe Papon located in the Old Town was recommended to us and we are happy to share that recommendation with others. We dined on the outside terrace with excellent service and the food was beautifully cooked and presented with delicious flavours. The wine list was well balanced and the overall cost for dinner was very reasonable given the quality on offer. The cafe was very busy in the evening with a mixture of tourists as well as locals and we noted a number of people walking-up for a table and being turned away. Therefore, recommend booking in advance to get your preferred time and to avoid disappointment. A really enjoyable dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! Did I say we love this restaurant? Been here twice, both times just amazing. Just a beautiful, inviting, relaxing space. The wait staff is so friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. And the food, OMG! We had the cold tomato soup, just incredible. My wife had that entrecôte, and I had the burger. And don’t get us started about the Opera dessert. Cafe Papon is at the top of our Geneva restaurant list!
