The food was great, and I loved that they gave the choice of patty/links for sausages. The cinnamon roll was good, and it wasn’t the typical ones I was expecting.
Service was 3.5/5. I felt rushed. The check was put down when we weren’t even half way done. No coffee refills throughout the meal.

Typical local breakfast spot, nothing too fancy on the menu. Traditional diner food, with sides like beans or cold cereal.
Waitresses were friendly and making their rounds to a full house very timely.
Hash Benny and the Charlie Omelette off the specials board were on the plate this morning.
Hash seems to be homemade, decent flavor, hollandaise sauce didn’t have much flavor to add to the overall taste.
Pan fries were decent, not greasy, seasoned ok.
Across the St is a fantastic coffee shop, I’d say skip coffee here and grab one to go there.

Travellers, cafe on the oval is a classic dinner with traditional diner food. It is a solid choice for lunch. The corn chowder is delicious and a wonderful way to start the meal. The White Russian is a turkey Rueben made with real turkey. The chicken salad sandwich was also well done. The diner is clean and cozy and the staff is very friendly. It was busy and everyone seemed to be having a nice time. The oval in Milford is cute and the cafe is charming on the corner. Check it out. We recommend.
TLDR – solid cafe/diner food

Visiting from Newfoundland, Canada. Hands down one of the best breakfast experiences. The staff are attentive and kind. The food is sooooo good! Stopping here is a must, even if you’re passing through like we are. Thank you!

Can’t beat Cafe on the Oval – the most bad ass fleet of waitresses run this place tighter than the marines and all of your classic diner faves are at your fingertips. I’m only here for the summer but I WILL make a point to get back here!

I stopped by on the first night of the Milford Pumpkin Festival. I had a slice of pumpkin roll with a cup of ☕ coffee. Both were good, but, I needed a spoon to eat the slice. It was sticky. They had a grill set up and were selling hot food.
I came back on the last morning of the last day of the festival and decided to stop by again. You can seat yourself. I had a pumpkin waffle with whipped cream. They forgot the whipped cream but brought it to me when I asked. It tasted good. The table wobbled. A waitress said they will try to fix it after I leave.
Service was okay. No issues.
Nice place to stop by for breakfast .
