Went right after opening before church and were the first ones. Started to fill up around 8:30am. Ordered the Farmers skillet + Ham and the Chipotle Chicken Skillet both with upgraded specialty pancakes. Our choices were the Blueberry Lemon Pancakes and Banana Crunch Pancakes. Plenty of food for breakfast with leftovers for two. Kitchen was pretty loud despite being behind closed doors. The Chipotle Chicken Skillet also had too many potatoes for the amount of other toppings in my opinion. Good flavors overall. Really enjoyed th Blueberry compote for the pancakes. Would have enjoyed fruit inside the pancakes as well as on top.

Went in to try out a new breakfast spot on my staycation. Chatted with Frank for a bit while I had my meal there. Funny, and chill guy! Locally owned, fresh OJ, freshly roasted coffee, and great quality food! Will definitely be returning to try out more menu items. They definitely won me over!

The food was okay, it was not fantastic but was fine for the price. The place was packed so probably many people disagree with me.
The eggs benedict were good. However it’s not a good mix with the potatoes, that plate was like 55% potatoes, so it was a bit boring and not too tasty.
The crepes were good too, they were filled with something like cheese cream and it was a bit salty but blended well with the rest. Something I didn’t like was the jelly they put on top, it tasted to cough syrup.

This place is an amazing little hide away. Service for this out of towner was top notch! I couldn’t choose from all the delicious things on the menu cause I wanted to try them ALL!! The green sauce and chips….I couldn’t stop eating them and I took it to go!! The atmosphere was calm, inviting and very pleasing to the eye! I’m an hour and a half away but I will definitely be back, it is so worth it! Don’t miss out on a great thing especially if you live in Huntley!! ❤️

Just tried this place three minutes from where we live and we were not disappointed at all. I made my own skillet and it was incredible made exactly the way I ordered it. My husband got biscuits and gravy and he said they were the best he’s ever had. They have fresh squeezed orange juice. The coffee is excellent. And if you’re into that sort of thing, their bathroom fixtures are great. I highly recommend. 12/3/24. Here again and the French Onion Soup is the. BEST I’ve ever had!!!

Had breakfast at Cafe on the Grove and it was really good. The food was solid and the service was great. My omelet was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Overall, a nice, easygoing spot with good food and friendly people. Would definitely go back.

It was my first time there today with friends, and we had a great time, perfect service and delicious food! The decor is lovely, and very cozy and clean. I will be back, and will be passing this great gem of a restaurant on to many more of my friends. I love supporting local Rolling Meadows restaurants.

Absolutely the cute, trendy atmosphere you’d expect to find downtown. They’ve thought of details at the bar- hooks for purses and outlets for phone charging.
The owner and employees are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you’re having the best experience. Our server, Christian, was always at the ready to refill coffee.
We enjoyed our breakfast- my husband said his food was “perfect” and my cinnamon bun pancakes were yummy! The menu is varied- sure to have something for everyone.
We are excited to have this cafe so close to home! We will be back soon 🙂
