Quaint cafe with amazing selection of Balkan and Mediterranean food! I’d never visited before but was in the area and decided to stop and get something to take home. I was immediately greeted by whom I assume was the owner. He was very helpful in walking me through the menu and I tried some new foods which were all amazing will definitely visit again and dine-in!

This is one of our all time favorite places to drop by once in a few months. My kids actually crave their food 😀
It’s a small restaurant, but their food is S-O good! They have daily specials, or you can pick from their regular menu.
The service is very good. They come and check on you even when they are completely full. I usually try to go there after lunch hour to avoid the crowds.
Definitely recommend this place.

For Christmas Eve lunch I met my friend at #CafeOnMain a Bosnian food establishment. I’m always up for trying something new, and I wasn’t disappointed. I loved it. My friend ordered the special for the day a #musaka made of layered potatoes, minced beef, and eggs with sour cream on top. He gave me some, I loved it, great flavor, and I love anything potato. I ordered the #BalkanMixedPlatter in the menu it says it’s One of the most popular dishes from Bosnia. Grilled veal and chicken schnitzel, veal kebab, four cevapi and small pljeskavica. It was so good. Loved the spices and yes lots of meat. It also comes with nicely cooked French fries. Our meal came with a lovely house made Italian bread that was lite and pillowy, great crumb. I loved everything we tried and I look forward to eating at Café On Main again.

serve such unique comfort food! The owner was very friendly and helpful. I had no idea how to pronounce most of the dishes, but he was very patient even though, I am sure he has to teach customers all day, every day. I want to go back, not just because of the food, but because he was so nice.
After looking through the whole menu several times, we decided to share the Balkan Mix Platter for one, which is way too much food for just one person.
We like to try a variety of dishes when we go to a new restaurant, and the mix platter was loaded with almost every kind of meat on the menu! It was delicious and should be shared with the whole table. The cevapi (skinless sausages) and the veal kebab were my favorites from the platter.
We ordered ajvar (pronounced aye-var) to go with all our meat. Ajvar is a spicy eggplant relish that tastes good with everything.
The owner/waiter recommended the Greek salad to go with our platter. The salad was good quality and balanced out the otherwise heavy meal.
This is one I definitely want to revisit because their menu is loaded with incredible dishes. I’d like to try the Bosnian pita (made with phyllo) and their tufahija, which is a baked apple stuffed with chocolate and walnuts, and topped with whipped cream.
Unfortunately, we were the last customers of the day and they were all out of these items. If you want to explore all the options, I would recommend you go here for lunch.

First time having breakfast here, very much enjoyed it! Highly recommend the veggie omelette, nice texture and great flavor, not your typical omelette but so tasty. The sausages were also really good. Breakfast comes with nice, fresh Italian bread and tomatoes and onions. If you’re looking for a no frills place with great food and fast service this is the place for you. Will definitely be coming back here!
