Whether you’re with kids, on a family outing, hanging out with friends, or just looking to recharge solo, this spot is perfect for any occasion.
The food is great, made fresh right before your eyes, and the prices are very reasonable.
For my part, I had my beloved hazelnut latte, while my husband went for a classic straight coffee. The kid opted for cold brew and a matcha bingsoo. If you’ve never had bingsoo, you’re in for a treat! The presentation alone is a work of art, featuring a fish-shaped serving of matcha-filled ice cream, topped with matcha ice cream, red beans, mochi, nuts, and light, fluffy ice shavings. One word: sublime!
The staff is friendly and great at making recommendations. They also know how to brew a perfect cup of coffee: strong, just the way we like it.
The space is well-maintained, and parking is metered, so keep that in mind.
That said, a quick heads-up: the rice tends to be on the slightly mushy side. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that — it’s just a matter of personal preference. I happen to prefer my kimbap rice a bit firmer, while others might enjoy the softer, more moist texture.
With so many excellent kimbap spots in the area, it really comes down to your taste. If you like a softer-style roll, Cafe Oak might just be your new favorite.
Came back to give them another shot after a disappointing first visit — and they really made up for it! The Oreo Bingsoo was delicious: rich, chocolatey, and hit all the right sweet notes. Every bite had something satisfying, and it totally cured our dessert craving. Glad to see they’ve taken feedback seriously and made some real improvement.

I’ve been coming here for years … until now. Injeolmi bingsu was our go-to thanks to the generous amount of ingredients, but it seems like they’ve finally succumbed to inflation and reduced the ingredient portion by a third. Now it’s just a typical milk bingsu with some sprinkles of nuts and injeolmi powder—nothing special about it. Say goodbye to the multiple layers of red bean, nuts, and injeolmi. Considering the inflation everywhere, I would have paid more as long as the quality of the dish remained the same. How disappointing.
**We visited on 5/21/24 around 5PM.
Knew I had to try their bingsu. So glad it’s offered even in the winter. We ordered the injeolmi bingsu. It took a few mins to create but it’s well worth it and the presentation is beautiful. Definitely big enough to serve 2 people.
All the ingredients tasted fresh. It’s full of flavor and texture. I love that they use milk ice and also had a small cup of condensed milk to pour over top of the bingsu. They do not skimp out of any of the toppings. So many nuts, red bean, rice cake, and injeolmi powder.
Definitely will be back to try the other flavors.
One of my friend told me about their kimbap, and I finally got to try a week ago. And OMG! it was so chewy and flavorful.
