this is definitely my new favorite restaurant in the suburbs. the rice is seasoned to the gods, the beans are divine. the green chicken enchiladas are so delicious and drenched in goodness. the nachos were surprising. i never had nachos like this individually covered, but its so good too. the horchata is amazing. the atmosphere is pleasant. I’m coming back forever and trying everything on the menu. thanks for coming over here! oh and the salsas are so fresh and just spicey enough that its pleasant on your tongue

Outstanding food and service. We decided to stop here on a whim, great choice. They had a mini appetizer, which was great. Fresh made to order guacamole, and hot fresh chips! The steak burrito and steak tacos were outstanding and well seasoned. Definitely will be back.

Food was great tasting and authentic. The menu is simple, but offers the most sought off dishes. The steak burrito was very good and not greasy. Their salsas were homemade and very flavorful. My spouse ordered the chicken enchiladas which she really enjoyed.
The cafe was very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated.
Paying with cash will get you a small discount.

Real deal authentic Mexican food. Their beans and rice are too salty. Otherwise the food is good. Delicious salsas. Friendly staff. The restauran space is small and loud.

Can’t complain about the food it’s always good. Was introduced to this restaurant from family it was ordered as catering- loved it. My husband and me went and left confused how we spent 55$ on tacos (not even a taco dinner) a green chicken enchilada dinner plate, 1 beer & 1 horchata. When I ordered my food the price said 14$ when we got the check it was 14.75$ same thing with the beer- the price on the menu reflected a different price on our check. It’s also cheaper to pay in cash compared to using a card- had we known this information we would have brought cash. Regardless I think it’s poor management skills for your menu to reflect one price and the bill to have a different price.

Who doesn’t know Nuevo Leon? Chicago’s most famous restaurant that has always shown amazing hospitality.
I met the owners. They are the sweetest people around.
I love the Caldo de res (Soup). Omg. Amazing. Not served on the weekends, but that’s okay, because I go on the weekdays too. I’m actually here now as I’m writing this. Let’s show support for this wonderful place that serves great food and owned by hard working people care. I love them. We even did a Birthday here. So much fun.

First time I came here. My husband had a work lunch event there with coworkers. He was bragging for me to try it. We live in Elmhurst and can’t find a good authentic Mexican restaurant. Glad to say we finally did. The food was delicious! My husband is white and he knows what real Hispanic food should taste like because I’m Hispanic. He is ordering food for his friends to try for Bears football games today. The waitress was super attentive when i went there. They brought us free appetizer tacos as you’re waiting. This place will see us coming back !!
