The pizza was delicious. We wanted Cajun and the had a gumbo that was pretty good. Also ordered a bisque that was nice and creamy. Not real Cajun food. More of a quaint place. Fries were a hit with my kids and the kids meatball with spag was good too. Kinda pricy, but all good food. Clean.

Came in for lunch and just not the best. Shrimp Alfredo had a wonderful taste but served warm! Grilled catfish was served on top of fries which made them soggy and yuck. I heard others say the pizza was fabulous so I will try that next time.

I frequently eat at Cafe Nola. The food is consistent and there are so many different delicious items on the menu that I find myself going back time and time again. The staff is always friendly and helpful going out of their way to make sure that I have a wonderful dining experience. One of my favorite dishes is the Veal Venezia. I always try to order meals that I don’t cook at home but honestly everything that I have eaten is absolutely delicious from there pastas to their nightly specials. I would highly recommend Cafe Nola to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

The food is great, well seasoned and large portions. The service was great this time, but I’ve been in the past and had less attentive service. It’s a cute little place with a bar, which I’ll have to visit sometime. They also have patio seats.

Me and my pregnant wife just moved to ponchatoula and decided to stop at Cafe Nola. This place was dead. Only table occupied on a Friday evening should have been a sign not to eat here. The waitress tried to put us a the only table with blinding sun. We asked to moved and after the waitress sat us at another table no one ever came back. We didn’t even get asked what we wanted to drink. There was 4 or 5 wait staff that seen us but never took our order. This place had only one table occupied in,the entire place and 5 employees just standing around. After waiting 10 minutes we got up and started to leave. A waitress walked right over and asked if we were leaving and I said absolutely. Her response was, “Ok!” I guess one table was too much for this place or was just to lazy to do their job.

The food is delicious every time we go. The service has been a little slow at times but the food was honestly worth the wait. The hubby and I like to try different entrees everytime we go and have not been disappointed yet. I deducted one star for the sometimes slow service.

Very good food, nice staff, and reasonably priced. We’ve had several family gatherings there, and each time the food came out hot and timely. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

The service was great, however, I was disappointed in the taste of yhe food. The muffalata ordered was very greasy, the hamburger steak had too many onions with no flavor and the macaroni was cheesy but greasy. I’m sad to say that we did not enjoy our meal.
