Wow! Great coffee, great service, great food. We stopped by expecting to grab a cup of coffee and ended up ordering brunch (they serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch depending on time of day. Aesthetics are beautiful. Atmosphere ❤️. Highly recommend this spot for anyone heading to Old New Castle!

Cozy little Restaurant/ Cafe on New Castle main Street. Good food. Right portions. Done well. Has a bar too if venturing for a night out. No supersizing here. Potatoes were awesome. Menu is short , makes decisioning faster. Lost one star for kids drink options and prices.

Excellent coffee shop with a great brunch and reasonably priced. Large open area with both indoor and outdoor seating. A nice walk up counter for Togo orders or tables to sit and relax. Craft beer as well as wine also available.

Our party of four, fortunately likes to share, so we were all able to experience 4 different delicious menu items on our visit. Everything was fresh and tasty! Great ambiance in the dinning hall. The outside seating looked nice as well, but we sat in the breezeway, nice and bright from all the skylights. Our server, Leif, rounded out our experience; he is knowledgeable about the menu, where the products come from, and the history of the building – and a great deal of other interesting things! Leif, congratulations on getting your degree, but I don’t wish you so much success that you won’t stay on for at least one shift a week!

We had friends coming from out of town, and decided to try out the new restaurant, but we didn’t have high expectations. We were surprised and delighted by our experience at Cafe New Castle. The service was superior from beginning to end. The cocktails were both clever and delicious. Dinner itself was sophisticated simplicity, extraordinarily well conceived, prepared and presented. Well done, Cafe New Castle! We will be back soon!

Great breakfast spot. We tried Cafe New Castle for the first time this weekend and it was great! The food was good, came out quickly(which seems to be a challenge for many of the breakfast places in the area lately), and service was exceptional. Nicely designed restaurant. Overall fantastic place and we will be going again!

Don’t order the roasted beet and fresh orange spinach salad-unless you ask first about the beets and oranges. What I received was canned beets and canned Mandarin oranges in my salad. Otherwise it was good. My husband had fried grouper sandwich and he said it was good. The place was trendy and clean.

First thing to know, everything about this place is slow. If you are in a hurry, don’t go.
I ordered an egg cheese bacon muffin, my wife did eggs toast and bacon. It took about 25 minutes for the order to come out.
Coffee had to be brewed while we were there. I had an empty coffee cup for 15 minutes. Strange that coffee, in a cafe, isn’t just always ready.
Overall though food was good and the staff were nice.
The cafe is quaint in a good way.
