Café Mirage, nestled within Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio, is the perfect spot for a casual dining experience. If you’re looking for something tasty after a day of fun at the arcade or pool, this is a solid choice for families. While it’s not a fine dining establishment, it serves up a variety of satisfying options like burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and nachos.

I must say, the food really impressed me! It’s a kid-friendly menu that caters to even the pickiest of eaters. The pizza was a standout for me—greasy in a good way, loaded with flavor that hits the spot. The fries were equally delicious, and I loved the fact that there are unlimited drinks available. Though the pricing might be a bit on the higher side, the diverse menu makes it worthwhile.

The service at Café Mirage was commendable as well. The young staff members were friendly and attentive, providing clear explanations of the menu items.

The atmosphere was inviting, with a clean and spacious layout that offered plenty of seating. Plus, its proximity to the arcade makes it easy to grab a bite and get back to the fun.

Overall, Café Mirage was a delightful dining experience. With a menu that appeals to everyone, it’s an excellent option for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack while enjoying the attractions nearby. If you find yourself in the area, definitely consider stopping by!

I wouldn’t order the pizza here. It was EXTREMELY greasy and very flavourless. I’m not exaggerating when I say grease was DRIPPING off my slice. Under the pizza was a pool of grease. The toppings slide off while you eat. It was something to just fill your stomach and nothing else. It was also very expensive for one pizza. You’re definitely paying for the convenience of it being located at the hotel. Just pay for delivery from somewhere else much better.

One thing I found really neat was the pagers they provide so you can go check out the arcade while you wait for your food. Overall, I would go somewhere else. I would highly recommend B-Lux on the lobby floor, their food and service is top notch.

The staff were very nice and the selection wasn’t all that. There’s a large seating area and a place to get your drinks with a lime of condiments.

Our pizza and wings were really good. We requested pineapples and bacon to be added to our pizza which provided an additional mouthful of flavor that I wasn’t expecting.

I’m usually at Kalahari for ColossalCon, which can have events running late into the night, so it’s nice to be able to grab some reasonably priced late night pizza.
