What are your thoughts on Café Mimosa (formerly Tres Bonne)?

Now it’s rebranded as Café Mimosa—which feels like a weird fit for Missoula—and somehow it’s still… not great. In my experience, the food’s mid, …

I just took my daughter out for brunch and the place was packed (for good reason)! The atmosphere is stunning and my daughter mentioned feeling like she was on the movie set of Wicked. We settled in with a matcha and the most fabulous Italian soda with whipped cream and sprinkles. But the star of the show was the shakshouka! Just wow…10/10 MUST ORDER. My daughter got the French toast with a side of strawberry cream dipping sauce. Chloe was our wonderful and knowledgable server. She was attentive and so friendly, even though she had multiple tables. I am so thankful to have had her for this awesome dining experience! We can’t wait to come back!!

The food was amazing. I loved the atmosphere. Easy to get a seat. Some surprising dishes on the menu. Sadly forgot to grab photos. I ordered the shakahuka. Amazing however the bread should have been grilled vs just sliced and put on top. Would definitely go back.

This place rocks!

We stopped in after the Farmers Market. I was surprised at the diverse menu. I had Turkish eggs, and my friend had Chicken Fried Steak.

We were both thoroughly impressed with our dishes. Both were very well prepared, and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly!

The restaurant was clean and had a nice modern ambiance.

The waitstaff was kind and tentative.

Most importantly, the mimosas were perfect and strong, too! $35 for all you can drink!

They also offer a gluten-free toast substitution. When I requested this to the waitress, she was quick to warn about cross contamination.

I do appreciate that they are upfront and take allergies seriously.

We will definitely be back!

As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with this atmosphere likely to be found in a cozy corner shop or high-rise building in New York or Seattle. The interior, booths, table setting, and menu remind me of a Y2K style.

A wide variety of alcoholic beverages range from fruity little drinks to sophisticated late-afternoon ones.

The food and coffee, AMAZING!
Although a little pricey. But makes sense where it is located. The general audience, from my observation, seemed to be around millennials, Gen Z, and baby boomers.

All over 20/10 places to eat!

Wonderful breakfast/brunch option with fresh flavors and some fun tweaks to the standard fare. Great Bloody Mary to get you started! Potent coffee too.

Amazing service! Delicious food, literally everything I had was flavorful, homemade, and mouth watering. The place can get busy, and they don’t take reservations, but you can get on a walk on list! This place is definitely worth the wait! 10/10! I’m impressed with the menu changes! I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend!

07/24 from 9-11am: Shared a pic or before and after being sent back. Presentation very nice and looks like it’s going to be so good but very big let down.
Dishes were both cold but one was okay because it had Salmon on it but the other Bennys biscuits supposedly just got done cooking which was a lie because it was flat out cold, everyone knows hollandaise sauce is suppose to be warm but unfortunately was cold as well and the sauce brought out for side was even more cold. Even if it was warm the taste was very bland and I would have to say the hollandaise sauce was probably the worst we both have had anywhere.
About the only positive thing for this restaurant was our server Ava, she had great customer service. There was another girl serving with a stripped shirt on and management needs to teach her what customer service is; bad attitude and did not smile once at anyone.
Tried this place when it was Tres Bonne and not sure if they have new ownership or cook but this was a horrible experience all together.

Funky-cool brunch spot. Decor was fun and reminded me of Miami. Staff were all very friendly. Great coffee. Food was good, but I wasn’t prepared for the eggs to be quite so runny, but the dish overall was so flavorful. Sausage corn dogs…yes! The oatmeal could have used a little bit of brown sugar. I want to go back and try more items.

What a shockingly great find in downtown Missoula, Montana! This was my first trip to Missoula and I have to say I was completely impressed with how hip and cool it is. This restaurant is only open until about 3 o’clock, but hopefully one day they will open for dinner because it is so cute and so fun and the food is so good! I do always love restaurants that let their servers just wear whatever they feel like so they can show their personalities. They also have disappearing doors making it an inside/outside restaurant, not sure how that works in winter, but it was great in summer! I was so happy with my breakfast that I forgot to take photos of it and so into the fun decor all I did was take pictures of the interiors! LOL I did however take a photo of my lavender latte which was delicious! And check out the cute salt and pepper shakers!

You know we’ve been to this place like five times and we don’t even live in Missoula! And it’s cool great atmosphere. The help is good.! You guys need to fix a few things hashbrowns and home fries are all served cold or lukewarm. Just try to order them yourself. If you work there you’ll see.! So if you order the standard breakfast, you get one piece of toast! Which is not enough for eggs and jam or something?! So I’ve always forget, but I end up ordering another piece of toast and it’s cold by the time he gets there! We ordered the club sandwich no cheese! I mean you’re trying to run a classy place. I was in the restaurant business for a long, long time.! You have a great location, great atmosphere, but you need to step it up in the kitchen! And the silverware you bought to serve people is something you’d find at Cracker Barrel! Best regards Rene Requa
