Pasta & other traditional Italian entrees are the draw at this time-tested, family-owned restaurant.

Horrible horrible definition of Italian food! Went there for the first time Friday and was excited to try this place and now regret it! Ordered some stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were just watery and bland! Also the sausage stuffing was super mushy and nasty! Didn’t taste like sausage at all! The bread sticks were doughy with some garlic just thrown on em! My pasta had chicken and sausage in it, the sausage was super mushy like Viennas and the chicken was dry with no seasoning! This place is trash! Will never go here again!!!! Service was good tho!

I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for these guys. (I’m such a review girlie, and I’ve been coming here for yeeeaaaarrrssss, so that’s insane.) My family and I love this place so much. The food is lovely, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and best of all, the people on staff are THE BEST. They take such great, attentive care of us every time, and since we’ve been coming for years upon years, we are truly treated as family. This restaurant has such a special place in my heart. What inspired me to suddenly write a review was a visit that I wasn’t even able to be there for. I’m laid up in bed in debilitating pain, so my family went without me. I just know our friends there asked about me because, of their own volition, they surprised me with a piece of cake with a little note on the box. They take great care of me even when I’m not even there! I’m not crying… something is just.. in my eyes . Ugh I love the Café Milano family from the bottom of my heart. Truly the best gem of Conyers.

We love eating here when craving simple Italian food. This was the first time I was a little let down by the food though. The appetizers were delicious, fried ravioli and fried mozzarella with marinara sauce, and the garlic bread is always fabulous! However, our main entrees were disappointing. My husband ordered the Italian Sampler which has lasagna, beef and cheese ravioli, manicotti, and baked ziti. When he got it, it was just a red sauce-looking dish covered in a mound of cheese. He said it was good but should have been plated differently or presented differently. My red snapper francese was delicious but it was three tiny pieces swimming in almost an inch of wine sauce. When the waitress brought it to me, it almost overflowed on me. Other than those small issues it tasted wonderful and we had an amazing time !

The best Italian food to be found for the price! Surprised they aren’t constantly full! Food was great, service was impeccable (Michelle, if I recall correctly); it was a welcomkng, comfortable, homey feel. We really enjoyed this random diversion! See ya soon!

Another first time experience!! Matthew was our waiter, and he was great. The food was really good, and my entree was the star of the evening !! The martini was delicious. My son actually tried something new tonight (ravioli), and he enjoyed it. It wasn’t busy, which I always love.

This was our first time visiting. The appetizers were tasty especially the crab stuffed mushroom caps. My main noodle dish was a little bland. I enjoyed the ceasar salad. Also our waitress was not so friendly at times. We were surprised at some of her comments. I really had high hopes before Visiting, however I enjoyed the company I was with. We had a nice time together.

Today, I decided to stop at one of my favorite little spots in Conyers, Cafe Milano.
I ordered the house salad, stuffed mushroom caps, and Chicken Rene.
The food is always excellent and always tastes much more expensive than it actually costs.
The house salad is the best I’ve had in Georgia or NYC, or New Jersey, and that’s saying something.
The stuffed mushrooms were ok, but it ate more like dressing, and I couldn’t find any sausage. They were cooked well, but in at least 8 visits, that was the only item that was ever average.
The Chicken Rene was excellent, despite not being a fresh cutlet, with a rich sauce that you could eat with anything.
However, the star of the meal was Morgan’s exceptional service. She was kind, polite, attentive but not clingy. There was a delay with the vreadz so she provided me with options regarding the sequence of my meal.
Nothing extraordinary, but seemless and very intentional.
During my appetizer, I inhaled a speck of bread. She asked if I was ok, responded with water and a stack of napkins.
The young lady working the tables with her, was very attentive of her table as well.
The food is always good at Cafe Milano, but today Morgan was the highlight.
Most businesses treat all servers as interchangeable and replaceable, as a former manager with a staff of 127 people, be sure you take care of this team member, as she is invaluable.

Short wait for a table on a busy Saturday night. Our server was bubbly, funny and very attentive. The food was good but not great. It came out quickly. My wife had Veal Parmesan that was hot and tasty. I had stuffed mushrooms with crab that was good and shrimp and lobster with angel hair pasta in fettuccine sauce. They called it Fettuccine Milano, a signature dish. It was a bit disappointing. The shrimp were not cleaned and had that black line that is the digestive track of the shrimp and my lobster was a few small pieces of imitation lobster meat. It has a very distinct flavor and mouth feel. Over all, We will return but I will remember to order a different kind of dish.

We had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals! The service was pretty good. We were seated immediately (Sunday afternoon). The garlic knots were amazing and the salads before dinner were good and fresh.
The lobster and shrimp pasta were amazing. The portions were generous.
Our dishes ranged from 20-30.00. My family can’t wait to come visit again and return.

Our server Mathew was great. He was very polite and efficient at his job. The food was pretty good. The only couple of things I have to knock stars off for are the amount of sauce put on a full order of spaghetti with meat sauce and the layout/presentation of my Italian sampler. The full order of spaghetti and meat sauce didn’t have enough sauce for even half of the bowl of noodles.
I also ordered the Italian sampler and it came with lasagna, manicotti, ravioli, and baked ziti. Once I received my plate, I couldn’t tell what or where anything was. The red sauce and cheese on top of the entire plate hid EVERYTHING. I couldn’t tell if I was eating a piece of manicotti or ravioli. The only thing that I could distinguish was the obvious ziti noodles.
However, I would like to compliment the meatballs. They were juicy and not over-mixed. Very tasty
I would dine here again especially because of the great customer service.
