Food seems to be heading toward inconsistency. There is one going lady who does most of the starting orders, petite brunette., who just seems to skim on the fillings / toppings. A little less each time. Not taking two to three extra seconds to evenly spread meats, or avoid stacking the dry large pieces, shows a slight lack of care about your food you re paying for. Cheese dip was also a bit cold, that was also a first. Time to look elsewhere or try a different Cafe Mexicali…

The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. The restaurant is sparkling clean. Food and beverage prices are competitive while the portions sizes are HUGE. This location sucks! Every time I’ve came to this location the kids working have messed up my order. This time they were way off. Nothing was even close to correct so I had them correct it and the chick gave me big time attitude, dirty looks and all! I guess its my fault these kids suck at their job and theres zero management to be found to actively make sure when a customer spends $80 that the order is even close to what they ordered. Tighten up! This location sucks. Shoulda learned my lesson the last 2 times I had negative experiences there.

Unfortunately we had a less than pleasant experience at this location. We have great experiences at all the other ones. The person that helped us was not very friendly and pretty rude. Then when i arrive home I discover that my food was burnt to top it all off.

I came here to get soft tacos and not only dose staff not care to make sure the food is made with the ingredients that the customer wants or does not want but after they tried picking off ingredients that was not supposed to be on the tacos they left it on there when we tried to get it remade they cut the portion in half. The first plate they gave me was loaded! Then the second plate had pretty much no meat on it barely any rice especially compared to the first plate. That is wrong especially when it was the staffs mess up. I got screwed over because the staff messed up! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Really impressed with the staff here. Had a very condescending and rude customer in front of me. The staff showed great professionalism and maturity in dealing with him. While I was starting to sweat from the effort of not confronting him and causing a scene, the staff seamed to just let his remarks roll off them…beyond that, food is always amazing, and the price and portions are always good. This place is my weekend pleasure and I look forward to it all week. Great job guys!

Great food! The sweet pork burrito is my favorite and it makes 3 meals (in leftovers)for me it’s so huge. All the ingredients are fresh and well made. The chips and queso are yummy. The service is always fast and friendly. I usually do takeout but they have plenty of seating. If you’re feeding a large crowd you can make a buffet of a half dozen menu items to share since the portions are so generous.

Burrito maker did not know how to replace salad on side with chips. Which is a common request that is always fulfilled. Had to bring a burrito home, 3+ hours away. This is what the meat situation looked like on the inside, I have never had so little meat on the inside of a cafe Mexicali burrito. I will most likely steer clear of this location in the future.
