Best brunch around ! I love going out for brunch and I have to say today I was so excited to try Cafe Melissa. Let me tell you it was worth it ! The chef and waitress was so amazing and accommodating. The food was flavorful and unique . I had blueberry pancakes with lemon mascarpone , fried potatoes , eggs, and sausage ( I didn’t take a picture of the potatoes but they were amazing as well). I can’t wait to come back !

Never had food here before and I was super excited to try the cali blt because the pictures look amazing. I’m no expert, but I think a blt is supposed to come with bacon. Flavor was good but it definitely needed the crunch of bacon as everything else is soft. Disappointed that my blt didn’t have the first ingredient in its name.

Made it to @cafemelissa_avonlake Their Steak tacos were amazingly good. Large portion. The perfect amount of seasoning. Then reading on the fried pickles was crispy and delicious. Even when I was full I ate the breading. Hand-breaded chicken tenders were a hit. Fries tasted like fair fries. We also had their Shrimp Thai Bowl, Carbonara and Mac-n-cheese.

I ordered the Crab Cakes dinner. Wow. Loads of crab meat and the perfect amount of filler and seasonings. The side of roasted potatoes were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted; crispy on the outside (including the skin!) and hot in the middle. My wife had the pulled chicken risotto-loved it. My son had the Chicken and Waffles with real maple syrup-loved it!

Such a cute spot for lunch with the family of picky eaters. Kids mac n cheese and grilled cheese went over well. The vegetarian loved the veggie burger and I loved the salmon. Hubby also liked the good selection of beers.

Food is awesome. Only complaint with service is they get pretty busy sometimes and service is slow. But they’re always friendly and accurate. I only mention it for people who may be in a hurry. If it looks busy you’re going to be seated quickly then wait a while for your server to come back around each time.

I have visited this location on several occasions. However, today I found several hairs in the salad that I ordered, which was a bit disappointing. They did subtract the amount of the salad from the bill, but never really addressed the issue or apologized.

Relaxed atmosphere. Has vegan food, salads, and entrees/dinners. Their chicken tenders were tender and juicy. I had their warm goat cheese side salad that was great alone. Iwish it was a larger salad option. My spouse had their burger w goat cheese and sweet potato and pico that was was refreshing. Do stop in and find your next fav meal! We plan to return!
