What really sets this place apart is the warm, welcoming service and cozy atmosphere. It’s perfect for a relaxed dinner, date night, or catching up with friends. The BYOB option is a nice bonus, too.
If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean food with great hospitality, Cafe Medi is absolutely worth a visit — we’ll definitely be back.
Each shawarma plate in my video was $20…. So we spent $40 for this…
Personally I thought the portions were smaller compared to their other location off of 26 in Colleyville. The portion at this Keller location was so small for the price and rather bland.
There are plenty of Mediterranean restaurants around here that actually serve a fair amount of food for the price. This was not the case. We will not be back
I had the vegetarian plate *(see photo).plus an appetizer option (the choices I remember were soup and salad. There were more.). My plate also came with rice and green beans.

When we arrived, there was a strong smell of cleaning product at the entrance—like they were trying to cover up something sour. Luckily, our table was in a different area of the restaurant that didn’t have the same odor.
It seemed like we had a brand-new server or someone still in training. While we understand everyone has to start somewhere, the service was a bit chaotic. Drinks came out one at a time after long trips across the restaurant, and food delivery felt very unorganized. The server would come out holding dishes and ask “Who had the side salad?” or just yell out the name of the item without knowing where it went. It was difficult to hear across the large table, and rather than walking around or asking for help passing dishes, they kept reaching over people to place plates down—definitely not ideal.
We ordered several appetizers including tzatziki, hummus, saganaki, and dolmas. The tzatziki had an unusual texture and wasn’t the best tasting, but the other apps were good, and they brought out plenty of warm pita.
My charbroiled chicken entrée came with a side salad that was fresh and tasty. The chicken itself was okay—tender but could’ve used more seasoning. Everyone else at the table felt their meals were just average.
Overall, the staff was friendly, and the space was nice once we got settled, but the food was hit or miss, and the service experience felt a bit unpolished. There’s potential here, but a little more organization and consistency would go a long way.
I did not receive my entree until at least ten minutes after the couple we were dining with. My wife’s entree arrived five to ten minutes after mine. Both were cold, the meat tough, and not much flavor.
The restaurant was less than half full. I don’t know how the kitchen could have possibly handled a full restaurant.
Our server made a good effort, but they were obviously understaffed.
The pianist was very enjoyable.
