Wonderful black beans and yellow rice. The plantains fried up so gently and caramelized to perfection. The warm buttered cuban bread was so heavenly. We arrived late for lunch and were welcomed with noyhing but warm smiles . We throughly enjoyed our lunch.

I’ve been going to Cafe Masaryktown since 2017. I love this cafe and all there Cuban specialties are yummy! My favorite, of course, is the heavy meat packed half cuban with a sumptuous bowl of hot Caldo Gallego soup. I also like the boiled yucca with the buttery lemon garlic sauce. The portions are large so plenty leftovers to bring home. All the servicer are friendly and pay special attention to customers. Sometimes there is a wait because they get very busy and also handle a lot of to go orders so please be patient. It’s a bit out of the way on 41, but well worth a visit! You won’t regret going to this historic Cuban Cafe!

Food was amazing!! The service wasn’t so good we never got any refills and they just kept walking past our table worried about what I believe was their family that came in after us and sat down behind us. My husband has been here quite a few times and loves it and did state that it’s never like that. He the reason we came to check it out because he’s always saying it’s so good.

Stopped here after a morning at Sweetfields Farms. They were busy but sat us quickly. Food was authentic Cuban. I had the roast pork my husband had the ropa vieja. Kids had some Cubans. Pricing was fair. We got a few Guava and Cheese Empanadas to go. They were made fresh and were huge but messy. I would definitely come back if I am in the area again.

The food was really good and fresh. The Cuban bread was “real” cuban bread (Casino bakery). We had the grilled chicken w yuca and rice. Although in my opinion, the fried yuca was better than the boiled yuca. The arroz Moro and the cafe con leche were my favs, however everything was flavorful.
Our server was great too, good customer service and very attentive to us, even though they were busy.

I’ve been living 15 minutes from here for a year and I had no idea! Feels like you’re the heart of Tampa but actually in a relaxed small town cafe. Great food, nice people, and close to me! Cash only on Tuesdays.

$15 for a plain stake sandwich with no fries and you have to pay more for the lettuce and tomato. Never in my life I’ve paid $15 for a sandwich and a soda. Definitely not worth it.
