Wow! One of the most beautiful places I have ever eaten, the waiter was amazing, we told him we had just gotten married and got us a free glass of champagne! This is a must see place! The view is amazing on a sunny day

We both had the excellent white fish and local wines. Wonderful view across Lake Michigan while dinning and we then took off our shoes and walked the shore for a couple miles at sunset

I planned a dinner for my daughters birthday. We were seated outside exactly as I requested. I also asked them for a special dessert of carrot cake. Cafe Manitou knocked it out. They did a fantastic job and Marsha our waitress was awesome. Our meals were delicious. Highly recommend!

Lovely view. Limited menu, but the options are clearly identified online or on-site. Many of the negative reviews seem to be focused on the bar. Yes, the line is long in July, but luscious specialty drinks contribute to that. We have always had good meals there. Reservations have been hard to make these last few years due to staffing shortages. Our experience with staff have been very positive.

While the food was served hot and as expected, it took forever to arrive and we ended up taking it as to-go. Our reservation for 6 adults and 2 toddlers was usurped by a party of 30 that arrived minutes after our arrival. The dining room became chaotic, and loud. We paid our $368 tab and added an 18% tip yet left there extremely disappointed. Unfortunately it’s difficult to recommend.

Went there for dinner and cocktails. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered the steak and lobster boil. Andouille sausage (that was suppose to be included in the dish) was missing from the lobster boil and the steak was not well seasoned but was a very good medium rare as ordered. Cocktails were watered down and uninspiring. There were also a lot of flies buzzing around which was offputting. Service was a little slow but the waitstaff was friendly. Very limited menu. Pricey and not worth the expense. Many other better eats in town.

Food was good but over priced. U r paying for the view. I was a party of 1 w a reservation and asked to be seated at a 2 top on lower deck under an umbrella. I was told they were short of tables for 2 on lower deck so got seated in the sun on upper deck. When I left nearly 2 hours later there was still a 2 top on lower level that had no guests

The service here was very good. I was greeted right away and all of the staff were friendly and had a smile. My food, as well as my boyfriends was prepared excellent. The view is also beautiful. Very relaxing and romantic

Do NOT plan on eating at this restaurant if you are not a guest at the Homestead. Apparently it is not open to the public. I planned my mothers 80th birthday party at this restaurant and we were turned away at the door because we were not guests at the Homestead. I Talked to three different people at the homestead to plan this party over the course of three months and no one asked if we would be guests at the Homestead at the time of the event. So after months of planning for my mother’s 80th birthday party at the restaurant they turned us away at the door. Inconsiderate, unthinkable, rude. So now we are in Glen Arbor 11 people on a Saturday night with nowhere to go for my dear mothers 80th party. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!
