Cafe Madrid is the best spot in Dallas. Hands down. I take all my out of town friends, family & coworkers here. It holds so many great memories. Earlier this month we had our engagement party here because cafe Madrid holds so many great memories for us! The service was amazing (as always) and the management was extremely well organized throughout the whole process (special shoutout to both Donica and Yasmine!).
We loved the food and all our guests had a great time. If you’re looking for a spot to hold an event or party, this is your place! (And get the croquetas, they’re my favorite!!!)

The food was a big disappointment. The paella was warm at best and completely bland. It honestly felt like it wasn’t made to order but reheated instead, especially considering I was dining there about two hours before closing. For a Spanish restaurant, that’s pretty unacceptable.
Overall, this place is fine if you’re just looking for a nice atmosphere to drink wine and socialize, but if you’re coming for the food, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Great service. They need to improve the patatas bravas! The croquetas are amazing. The pulpo and gambas à la vinagreta are wonderful! The flan with chocolate cake was on the dry side.

Absolutely incredible experience at Cafe Madrid! The flamenco dancers and performers were breathtaking — full of energy, passion, and authenticity that made the night unforgettable.
Our waitress Carolina was beyond amazing — truly 1000% magnificent! Her service was flawless from start to finish. She was warm, attentive, and spot-on with her tapas recommendations — every dish she suggested was delicious.
My wife was glowing with happiness the entire evening, and that alone made the night perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back — this will be our go-to date night spot from now on.

We cannot sing high enough praise to Cafe Madrid! We went on Flamenco Friday and had so much fun. The dancers were incredible and so friendly. They even sang my friend happy birthday!
My friends and I used to live in Spain and we all agreed that this was not only the most authentic Spanish food we have had in the states, it was so delicious! The patatas bravas were the best patatas bravas I’ve ever had.
In addition, everyone on the waitstaff was so attentive and kind. We also had the privilege of meeting and talking with the owner, Donica. She told us the story of her passion for Spain and how she brought that to manifest into the restaurant. It was truly and amazing night.
If you want to support a small, woman owned business that has amazing food, a great atmosphere, and incredible service, go to Cafe Madrid. This would also be a great venue for a larger party or celebration.

We took a stroll through Knox Street in Dallas to explore. We just moved here in January and always love finding new restaurants. Café Madrid caught our eye we popped inside to check out a menu and were immediately greeted with such a warm welcome and big smiles. The restaurant was clean, and was buzzing already, even though it wasn’t primetime and the air smelled delicious. We had to stay and have a bite to eat. We love that it was topas style, so we could truly have a taste of what Café Madrid has to offer. Everything we ordered I highly recommend! We ordered Moroccan chicken, Beef skewer, Saffron rice, Shrimp and garlic sauce, manchego cheese and spinach croquettes, White sparkling sangria, And the Chardonnay blend. I truly wanted to keep eating my way through the menu, but I’ll just have to save it until the next time we return. If there were mountain tops in Dallas, I would scream from the top of them that you have to come try this place out, but since we are lacking mountains and hills, I’ll do it here on Google. COME CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! The owner Donica reached out to me on Instagram immediately as my story posts started flooding in with photos and how amazing the food was, which was another special touch point. She was so grateful for Spreading the love and sharing my posts. I come from many years of running restaurants and this establishment is a well oiled machine with delicious food, an amazing team, and it felt so good to just sit in this atmosphere.

we loved our dinner here! it was easy to make a reservation with Cafe Madrid for my friend’s 30th birthday dinner.
the food was delicious. our group ordered plates in trios of protein, carb, & veg, & every plate was delicious. the shrimp, lamb meatballs, & fried feta in honey were group favorites.
the service was excellent. our waiter took great care of us, kept our glasses full of sangria, & added a little extra flair to the birthday dessert.
the ambiance was charming & comfortable. it was friday night so they had live musicians playing well-balanced instrumentals.
