Visited Café Luna for a business meeting this morning. I stayed until about lunchtime so I decided to get an avocado BLT with extra tomato and a side of regular mayonnaise because it comes with A chipotleaïoli spread. I also got one of their plant-based energy drinks called the mimosa, but without any alcohol!
Once I got my sandwich, the amount of chips I got on my plate didn’t seem as many as the others that were grabbing their meals as well so I was a little bummed about that, but that’s OK. I told myself I didn’t need the extras. And I was satisfied with what I had. The chips are homemade, absolutely delicious and crunchy and super flavorful. My BLT was good however, the amount of bacon was certainly lacking. I was bummed about that because I really enjoy the taste of the bacon. Overall, my experience it was good. The bread to the sandwiches is nice and thick and fluffy so that added to the texture of the sandwich. Their menu is robust and I would recommend this place to anybody. Oh, and I took a picture of the bathroom because it’s so super cute, Clean and spacious

Very cute and well decorated! However my smoothie bowl was a frozen slushy that really needed a straw after all of the toppings were moved. I expected a lot more for a 15$ smoothie bowl.

I’ve stopped in a handful of times now, and it’s officially become a must for me!

The atmosphere is beautiful, with comfortable seating and plenty of large tables—perfect if you’re looking for a spot to get some work done.

The food has been consistently excellent every time I’ve gone. I’ve tried the Garden Bagel, which is a great savory start to the day; the Maple Sausage, which is an amazing sweet kickoff; and the Modern Egg, which was simply perfect.

Their coffee specials never disappoint, and their regular coffee is superb for anyone who prefers something less sweet.

Definitely a go-to spot—and somewhere I’ll be bringing my people!

I stopped in to Luna Cafe for the first time on Feb 6th 2026. I live up north in Maine but was in the area doing errands and needed a bite to go. As other reviewers have commented, the atmosphere is nice but a bit loud. Par for the course for this type of venu though. I found the service to be lackluster and underwhelming, sleepwalking staff who offered zero enthusiasm or warmth. But the food was the worst part. I ordered an avocado BLT. I was so looking forward to it. Had I been served there I would have sent it back but took it to go. The bread was very stale and not toasted as the menu states. The contents were barely there. The only good thing was the chipolte sauce, not enough to carry the weight of a poorly assembled and prepared sandwich. Fifteen dollar sandwich that mostly went into the trash. Thought I might have found a good pit stop for future travels but probably won’t return.

When traveling, I’m always in the lookout for good vegan options. The avocado toast (without the grated egg) and an Early Morning riser – with cold brew and almond milk, was the bomb for breakfast. A little spicy and a little sweet.

Great food and coffee! Servers were awesome. Only complaint i have is the parking. People are always parking in the no parking zone and there’s only one way in or out. Seems like a fire code violation. Otherwise everything was great.

I’ve been going to Cafe Luna for some time now and have not had a bad experience. Located in Scarborough, you wouldn’t expect this trendy cafe to be right off Route 1, but I’m so glad we have it here; there aren’t many other places like it in the area.

One of my favorite things about Luna is how spacious it is! They have high tops, seating by their window area, outdoor seating during the summer, regular tables, and the comfiest and softest chairs. I love to come here to get some work done and change my seating location throughout the day. The service is also excellent; I’ve always felt welcomed, and everyone’s lovely.

The menu is extensive and filled with salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and toasts. They have an impressive selection. My favorite is their combo deal, where you can get half a salad and half a sandwich for $13 — you can’t beat that. The food is pretty good, but it can sometimes be inconsistent. I don’t love their coffee, but that’s mainly because I’m a dark roast person, and they don’t offer that. At $4 for a cup of hot coffee (for black coffee, this is a bit over the average cost), I’d expect to have a few more options in terms of the style.

Lastly, people complain about the parking, but it’s not that bad. Yes, it can be frustrating during rush hour, but just be a bit patient. I’ve never struggled to find a spot, and the most I’ve had to wait is 5 minutes. Given the space, I think they did their best with the parking situation.

We stumbled upon this cafe looking for brunch and had a great experience. Açaí bowls were large and delicious. Lemon poppyseed muffin and egg sandwich were great as well. Oat milk lattes were hot and hit the spot. This cafe had such a relaxing atmosphere with fun decor, plenty of parking, and outdoor seating.
