We had such a lovely time at Café Lucci! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the food was amazing. Our server, Juan, was so kind and attentive—he really made us feel taken care of. The sweetest part was when the manager overheard it was my husband’s birthday and surprised him with a dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the night feel extra special. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs) and can’t wait to come back!

Finally tried Cafe Lucci in Glenview and wow… this place is such a gem. They even have a full vegetarian menu, which is so rare, and everything we ordered was really good. We had the burrata, beet salad, cacio e pepe, cavatelli vodka sauce, eggplant parm, spaghetti, plus sticky toffee pudding and tiramisu for dessert. The pasta and eggplant parm were standouts but honestly everything hit.

Service was amazing and the whole vibe was super welcoming. Definitely one of my new favorite Italian spots in the suburbs, can’t wait to go back.

Early celebration in Chicago with my “forever young” forever Valentine. Dinner at elegant (and affordable!) Cafe Lucci. Herb crusted lamb chops and Veal chop Parm with a smooth Barolo that just got better as it warmed up and aired. White linen table cloth, gentle classical music in the background, subdued conversation. Our waiter inquired and made the meal pacing fit exactly our desired length. Professional service at every position from the valet to the gracious host to the bus staff. Plus one of the most extensive wine lists I have had the pleasure to leaf through.

The food is exceptionally delicious in this little unobtrusive venue, and the friendly service from the bartender Juan to the waiter and busboy was commendable. You will be glad you came!

Cafe Lucci in Glenview, IL, is a true gem for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. From the moment I stepped in, the inviting aroma of fresh bread set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The bread, paired with the roasted garlic spread, was a heavenly start, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality.

I opted for the bone-in veal Parmigiana, and I was thoroughly impressed. The dish was a perfect blend of tender veal, flavorful tomato sauce, and gooey cheese – a true Italian classic executed with finesse. The special of the day, the prime skirt steak, exceeded expectations with its succulence and rich taste.

The culinary expertise extended to the bar, where I savored a well-crafted dirty martini. The balance of flavors in the cocktail complemented the meal beautifully. Equally noteworthy was the attentive service; the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured a seamless dining experience.

One standout aspect was the restaurant’s consideration for its patrons. Despite our leisurely pace, there was no rush to vacate the table after finishing our meal. The valet parking, especially appreciated on a rainy day, added a touch of convenience to the overall experience.

Cafe Lucci not only excels in delivering delectable Italian dishes but also in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages patrons to savor each moment. This establishment has undoubtedly earned a place among my favorite dining spots, and I look forward to returning to indulge in their culinary delights.

It is perfectly fine restaurant in Glenview with great service. Pasta dishes were good but, unfortunately, all the seafood items were a bit dry and overcooked. That is one flaw that is difficult to overlook at this price point. Given how competitive this area has become with so many good restaurants, I hope they can keep up.

Café Lucci delivers a consistently satisfying dining experience that blends upscale Italian flavors with a relaxed neighborhood feel. The menu features a variety of pastas, seafood, and steaks that are always well-prepared and generously portioned. The standout dishes, like the veal saltimbocca and the daily fish specials, showcase fresh ingredients and a balance of traditional and modern touches. The wine list is impressive without being overwhelming, and the staff is knowledgeable enough to make spot-on pairing suggestions.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a buzz of conversation that makes it perfect for both date nights and family dinners. Service is attentive but never rushed, giving guests time to savor the experience. While prices lean toward the higher end, the quality of the food and presentation make it well worth it. Overall, Café Lucci is a dependable choice for a memorable Italian meal in a polished yet comfortable setting.
