Great food, service and vibe! First time here and will definitely be back for sure. Started with fried calamari, then Lamb chops, pasta special, halibut special, they had were excellent and tasty! I wish I could remember our servers name as she was great! We’re there Saturday evening August 19 at 6pm, party of 3 sat in corner table. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great vibes, friendly service, delicious food! Came here with my husband and were seated at a massive 10 person booth by the window. Immediately greeted by friendly staff. Would definitely recommend dining here.

$ 28 for a “half” of a petrified chicken?!? See for yourself. The “chicken leg” was only the size of the tines of my fork. As you can see, the texture was dry and almost impossible to get the meat off of the bones. Banquet frozen chicken is more appetizing. Again $ 28 for a hospital worthy chicken without any starch. No potato/no pasta. Never again and I picked it up as soon as it had come out of the kitchen. Buyer beware.

Went on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded. I imagine on weekends it’s packed. Super nice vibes, service was great, food on point. I got the filet mignon, it was topped with goat cheese instead of blue cheese which I actually really enjoyed.

We were there for a luncheon. They allowed us to reserve off hours. It really made an emotional day for our family amazing. Their good was absolutely delicious. I will cherish the afternoon we had there and I can not wait to enjoy another visit at Cafe Lucci.

First time, with friends who suggested it. Crab cakes and calamari for appetizers were delicious and enough to share between 5 diners. Loved my whitefish… excellent service. Hope to visit again next time in the Chicago area.

The food is delicious and fairly priced. Every dish was fantastic. But we sat on the patio and they were blasting terrible club music from the radio (with ads) the entire time. Killed the vibe. Service was slow at first but we still loved our waitress -I think she just had too many tables.

Let’s start with the fact that Cafe Lucci is an Italian restaurant for those who’ve never been to Italy or eaten decent Italian food in the states. Appetizers arrived in under 10 min from ordering, which left us doubtful of proper preparation care. We were proven right as the grilled octopus came out cold a d the best part of the dosh were the grape tomatoes underneath, My wife’s mussels in white wine had a very heavy stock flavor to broth, and it was definitely not even fish stock regardless of the fact there should be zero stock in steamed mussels. Our main courses were even worst if I an to be honest. Gnocchi were like rubber, definitely not made onsite and my “fisherman’s stew” was mediocre at best with overcooked protein over overcooked store quality linguine, all in a heavy marinara sauce that completely overwhelmed and really killed the taste of the seafood components, The best part of our dinner was the wine, and that’s because it was made somewhere else in Italy. We had high hopes for our first visit based on reviews, but it will be definitely our last. Steep prices, bad food, and staff that is rushing your orders even when the restaurant is half full at best on a Friday night nevertheless.
