Food was fair. 2 burgers 2 fries 2 drinks. $40.00. I almost lost my mind. Definitely not worth the price. 3 bottles.. were tried of creole seasoning all were stuck.. burger was nothing special. Lettuce tomato slice of cheese dab of mayo and mustard. Thank goodness for packets.

I have been hearing about Lola Cafe for years and we finally decided to make a trip for lunch to try it. The meal was fairly boring, unimaginative, and frankly, cold. I ordered the steak sandwich and expected it to be warm, but the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was dry and the beef tasted old. I left hungry. For the prices, and the Eat Lafayette promos, I just expected a better quality meal. The atmosphere was okay, but I just wasn’t impressed. The location is good and the problems could be easily corrected. For instance, dry tortilla chips aren’t it, and offering them with sandwiches and expecting customers to pay extra for salsa seems counterintuitive. I would suggest just basic Lays or nothing at all, and lower the prices on the sandwiches, or increase the portions. No one should leave hungry after a $13.95 plus tax sandwich.

Quick bite before work. Haven’t been there in years, and it was DELICIOUS!! Ordered the TLC Sandwich. So good!! Bread was soft and fresh. Will be back to try a wrap soon.

Even for a peak time (~12pm), service was exceptional and fairly “quick”! The food was delicious. The sandwich alone was filling, and the chips were a great small side.

Plenty of seating inside, and easy to order to go! Staff was kind and friendly.

I am so very impressed by this little cafe. First of all, the service was absolutely incredible. Every single staff had a smile on their face and genuinely cared about communicating with their customers, how refreshing!
Secondly, the food blew my mind. You can taste the quality and care given to it. I ordered a club sandwich and it was crisp, succulent, and full of flavor. I had a bite of my dad’s crab cake salad and was so impressed. There has never been a crab cake that I have liked; this one changed my mind. It was stuffed with lump meat that was not overpowered by the seasoning or breading and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There’s so much more I could say about the soup of the day and the different sauces I tasted. The atmosphere of the place was so enjoyable as well. This was an absolutely positive experience and I cannot wait to return!!

This was my first time dining here. I had the Portobello sandwich and it was so good. I would ask for a different side other than chips if they offer. I wasn’t in the mood for tortilla chips so wasted most. Service was prompt. Nice atmosphere.

I ordered the vegetarian (I am not a vegetarian) sandwich on my first visit there just the other day. The harmony of it was so amazing I can honestly say I have not stopped thinking about it, and it’s been about two days. I look forward to going eat there again very soon. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, I am younger so it was up my alley. Very loud and fast paced. The perfect place to grab a quick bite for a great price!

Great place for lunch. I have worked in the area for years now, and this has always been a go-to place. My favorite is the broccoli-cheese soup on Thursdays, but there has not been any dish that I haven’t liked. The staff is also amazing! I always recommend this place!

I’m a door dasher . First time to pick up an order here . They didn’t greet me , or ask me the name of the order . Just talked to each other and told them I was a dasher . And then the guy that packed the food , just tossed the bag on the table and didn’t say have a good day or anything . I have never even had a chance to try there food yet and this how you treat someone ? lol okay
