Cafe Lola absolutely nailed it.

We started with the bacon-wrapped dates and WOW — perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and sweet inside, with that salty bacon balance that makes you close your eyes for a second. Easily one of the best appetizers I’ve had in a while.

The chicken-crusted entrée was flavorful, tender, and beautifully prepared — you can tell they care about presentation and quality. Every bite felt thoughtful.

And let’s talk dessert… the warm butter cake was pure comfort. Moist, rich, topped with whipped cream and paired with ice cream — the perfect ending. Not overly sweet, just decadent enough.

We paired everything with a delicious red blend that complemented the meal perfectly. Smooth, bold, and exactly what you want with a cozy dinner.

The ambiance was intimate and inviting, with soft candlelight and a relaxed vibe. Great for date night or a special evening out.

Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back. ✨

I don’t usually write reviews but this place absolutely deserves the 5 star rating I’m giving them. I was a party of 6 with no reservation on a Friday evening and the manager (I think) was still kind enough to accommodate us. This was my first time here so wasn’t aware you needed a reservation. The service was top notch. My glass never got empty and used plates were taken off the table asap. The food was jaw dropping. I was not expecting this. It was on another level. I haven’t ate anywhere in the Tri-Cities that tasted as good as this place. I got the French dip sandwich with fries and for a starter got the spinach and artichoke dip. Words just cannot describe how good it was. We also had the chocolate fondue. Superb! Last the price was very reasonable for the quality and service. I’d pay more to eat here if I had to. Excellent job to the people who run this place. You know what you’re doing. Thank you for the wonderful experience

I had high hopes for Cafe Lola Bistro based on the Google reviews and atmosphere, but unfortunately my experience fell short.

We were seated fairly quickly and brought waters right away, but it took a long time for our waitress to come take our drink order. So long that we decided to order our food at the same time because we didn’t want to wait any longer. I ordered a watermelon margarita and was told they didn’t have watermelon, so I switched to strawberry. It was just okay, juice-like and very weak on the tequila. I wasn’t asked whether I wanted a sugar or salt rim (it came with neither). My friend ordered a flight of wines and was satisfied with it.

I ordered the French dip. The bread was good, but the meat was dry and the au jus was cold, gelatinous, more like gravy than au jus. I ate half of it and took the rest for my dog. I asked the waitress whether I should get the brussels sprouts or the parmesan fries, and she recommended the fries. Unfortunately, I strongly disagree with that recommendation because the fries were cold, undercooked, bland, and disappointing. I’m not one to complain, but it was evident that I only had a couple fries and the waitress said nothing when she took our plates.

My friend ordered the tofu special and finished her plate, but she mentioned that she was very hungry going into the meal and felt that hunger may have influenced how much she enjoyed it.

We sat for quite a while hoping to order another round of drinks, but the waitress never checked on us, so we eventually decided to just ask for the bill. On our way out, I realized there’s another section of the restaurant on the opposite side, which made me wonder if our server was covering too much ground. If so, additional staff would likely make a big difference.

Overall, I’m not sure what others see in this restaurant. I found the experience mediocre across the board, which is disappointing because the atmosphere made it seem like it would be much better.

Natalie was such a wonderful soul! I have been coming to this restaurant since 2012 when I was in high school. The food is always prepared fresh and the place is always clean! I have never had a complaint in over 10 years! Top notch environment and the pricing is wonderful. This is my favorite restaurant hands down.

We decided to try this place for lunch today. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and told to sit where we’d like. We picked a seat by the window.

The waitress asked if we’d like a water, but didn’t give any other options for drinks. After we’d decided on a “brunch menu” item, we were told that’s served on a different day and to pick from the lunch menu. It’s actually written, albeit very small, the specific times the brunch menu is being served. Our waitress stood there awkwardly while we both decided (again) what we’d like. I made a rushed decision to get a croque monsieur, because the waitress just seemed really busy and ready to take our order. My husband ended up deciding on a chicken sandwich.

The food arrived promptly, and was pretty on the plate. Flavor was decent, but honestly everything was overpriced for what we received. The french fries were very hard, and felt like they had been sitting under a warmer. The crust of the bread was almost inedible it was so hard.

The atmosphere is clean, and somewhat sophisticated. Some of the decor was questionable. The curtains on the windows make it feel like a Chinese buffet. The bathrooms were very clean.

My wife and I visited for Sunday Brunch. Our first time coming here even though we’ve driven by our entire adult lives. Cannot believe we’ve been missing out this whole time. The restaurant setting, the service, the menu, the food, is all top notch, and exceeded our expectations. My wife got the crab cakes Benedict and I got the chorizo tacos. Again, everything was wonderful!!!

We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. We have been turned away for brunch on Sunday because we didn’t have reservations. We come here often dinner and brunch. We enjoy the food & drinks. Service is usually great. Be aware that the noise level can be moderate to high if there’s a group in the front dining room.

Always a delight. The food is fresh, hot and delicious. The $4 mimosas on Sunday are so yummy. The atmosphere is relaxed but contemporary. Photo of breakfast croissant sandwich and quiche. Both explosions of flavor.

This is an update to one I did a few years ago. We went back to Cafe Lola on Nov. 22, 2024. I still give it 4 stars. Here’s some things from our last visit. I had the Tuna and really enjoyed it. My wife had Salmon Wellington. Salmon does not work in the Wellington pastry as well as beef because the flavor is not as strong. Would not recommend it.

We arrived just after they opened at 5 PM. They seated us in a little table in a corner and we thought we would have a quiet place to dine. They seated the next group right next to us, even though there were no other tables occupied. They continued to seat everyone in the same area. Not sure whey they did this. There were plenty of tables open.

A nice little place with wonderful food. I had Tilapia and my wife had Sea Bass. Both were excellent. It is small and reservations are a good idea, even on a weeknight. The one negative is the food is a bit expensive.

My wife (Sandra) and I enjoyed going to Café LoLa for quite some time, so much so, we made a tradition of going there several years ago to enjoy a nice meal in celebration of our anniversary. Nearly two years ago, Sandra was called home to the kingdom of Heaven by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Last year I decided I would continue the tradition we started; this is the second year I celebrated our anniversary by going to Café LoLa. I ordered the same meals we both enjoyed, the last time we were there together, eating hers and taking mine home. I was blessed to (again) have the same server (Elliott (sp?)). This was not by chance, God’s will was done here by blessing me in this still difficult time with a friendly and familiar face. Elliott even remembered Sandra’s order (Chilean Sea Bass)….Can you believe that?!?! The atmosphere, food, and staff have always been great and I have to say Elliott’s service was outstanding (same as last year). What an enjoyable experience again this year and the icing on the cake was the second time being served by Elliott. Thank you Café LoLa for another wonderful anniversary dinner. God Bless y’all.
