It’s sooo good now! I used to live nearby a few years ago & it was bad back then. Now it feels like the people who run it really care and are trying to make it a go-to neighborhood spot. I just got back from traveling around LATAM & Mexico for 4 months , and am staying nearby again. I’ve been here for a week and have gotten most of my meals from this spot! Hot coffee, delicious traditional bodega breakfast sandwiches, and legit delicious Mexican. I’ve lived in Brooklyn most of my adult life, and coming back from my travels, I am SO happy to have really good Mexican so close to where im staying 🙂

We started going to this place about a month ago (Aug 2025) and absolutely fell in love with the fresh smoothies at great price. It’s a clean spot, meat seems fresh (chicken and steak tacos were bussin), and it’s just a nice convenience store in the neighborhood. BUT…. In the last week or so, I’ve noticed their fruit is old! I’m not sure what’s going on, but the smoothie I had last week was even bitter! Now my partner tells me he noticed the fruit looked old today too! Cafe Las Palomas, please do better!

The food is sooo authentic, fresh and delicious. I’ve eaten the carnita burritos, shrimp tacos, chicken tacos and the flautas and very flavored.

I had the most delicious chicken nachos and tacos at this spot. It’s new to the area and they are working on dine in. Great customer service and the food was really fresh. Not bad for a Mom and Pop local spot.

The freshest Mexican spot in Westchester! It’s a small Latino owned shop with authentic Mexican cuisine, breakfast sandwiches and aguas frescas! You have to try their guacamole and chips. It’s homemade, fresh, and authentic.

I could see why this store front is always empty. I mentioned to the guy on Sunday that the customer is always right. He said not in Mexican store. I will never spend my money here. Very rude man.
