This place is always in our rotation! The food and drinks are great and the sidewalk dining is a major plus. Always recommend the incredible/fresh sandwiches, prosciutto arugula pizza and the Aperol spritz. Incredibly nice staff!

This is a wonderful, low key European style café with great coffee, refreshing alcoholic and virgin beverages and good Italian and Serbian bites. Portions are generous and easy to share. Salads, prosciutto, mortadella, fresh mozzarella sandwiches, grilled pljeskavica or ćevapčići on yummy lepinja bread, ajvar, kajmak, pizza, etc. Bring a date or your BFF here and take your sweet time enjoying the bustling Broadway street, especially in summer when window doors are all open and lovely yellow sidewalk chairs and tables pop up!

Stopped by for lunch and had a generally pleasant experience.
I tried their specialty Cevapi and the Shopska salad. The food was decent, the cevapi came in an oversized pita that was difficult to handle, and tearing it apart got messy, which I didn’t love. The meat and dip were good, though I wasn’t a fan of the onion.
The service and atmosphere were great.
I’m curious to try their crepes. I usually go to the crepe shop across the road when I’m in the mood for one, but maybe next time.

Went here with a friend on a cold January Saturday night. First time although I’ve lived in the area for years. The atmosphere is so cozy and warm. The staff that attended us were amazing. Friendly and welcoming. My friend had a vegan quinoa dish and I a glass of blanc whine. Another great aspect is the noise level. It’s cozy enough that you can hear each other talk without needing to shout. Bathrooms were very clean and private too. A Lakeview East gem.

I’d been meaning to check out this location for quite some time, but I was unfortunately disappointed by the service and the way my friend and I were treated by a server this past afternoon. My friend and I were there for less than an hour, still eating our meals, when the waitress came over and asked if she could move us in favor of a larger group that had come in. I was confused why she didn’t ask to take the table that was attached to the table my friend and I were occupying. Strangely, she wanted to move us in the middle of our meal and made a face when we politely refused. The waitress brought the bill and when I asked her to separate the bill for us, she simply split, and hovered as my friend and I took our turns paying. I then witnessed her whispering to her fellow server and looking over at our table as I put my coat on— genuinely strange behavior and very disappointing. We will not be returning back.

The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the coffee tastes great. I also really liked the decor, it has a nice European vibe.

I often come to this place in summer. The small patio and its colourful design adds spark to the area. I had Capricciosa pizza ordered for delivery and it reminded me of Eastern Europe type of pizza, it’s different from American and from Italia but still delicious. The dough is of middle thickness, it’s fresh and not frozen.
I also had cevapi which came with fries and different types of sauces – we shared it for 2 people and it was enough.
There are french crepes and I loved the simplicity of the honey-nuts combination.
We also had the sandwich which was huge, with generous amounts of meat.

This neighborhood place is always packed and I’m so glad I finally got to try it! The food is insanely good, I can’t wait to go back and try more! Fun drinks and a killer happy hour!
