Cafe Karibo in Fernandina Beach was a great experience for our group of 10. The service was excellent from start to finish, and they were able to accommodate all of us without any issues. The food was delicious, the coffee was really good, and our waiter was attentive the whole time, always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated that some of my friends are vegan and they were able to find good options they were happy with. We sat inside, which had a nice atmosphere and good vibes, but the outdoor area also looked really quaint and inviting. Definitely a lovely spot to enjoy a meal with friends.

Stopped by for Lunch today. It’s Saturday and it’s busy. We sat outside because this place is so laid back surrounded by lots of beautiful plants and greenery. Our waitress Meagan was so sweet and friendly. Our food came out hot and on time. My Husband had the burger and I had the Crab cakes. The crab cake were so good. Tasted fresh. My Husband said his burger was very juicy. The prices were very reasonable. Parking may be a little challenging, but usually you can find something on the street. The have inside and outside tables. Everyone was outside because it was such a beautiful sunny fall day on Amelia Island. I highly recommend going here to eat. We decided we would go back for dinner next week.

Birthday Lunch at Cafe Karibo has become one of our favorite traditions! The food is always incredible and the service quick and friendly. We love that the Birthday Girl’s favorite Mahi sandwich is perfect every time, and the availability of whole healthy options to choose from. Jan 5th 2026, 1:15pm – -Came for a second visit. Ordered the Karibo burger, & the Kairibo house salad with a side of grilled shrimp. Both were absolutely amazing. Our server Scott was pleasant enough, however I ordered the “special sauce” for the burger on the side, but never did receive it. Not quite sure what happened there, but it wasn’t a huge enough deal worth mentioning to the server. Anyway, by the time he came to check on us, i was nearly finished my meal. I’ll definitely try this place again, perhaps the third time will be a charm and I’ll be able to say that everything was perfect.
Stopped in Dec 23rd 2025 around 1:30 pm. Crab cakes were tiny but good, salad was fresh, and the Philly Cheesesteak was really good. The side of potato salad that came with the Philly Cheese Steak however was not edible. It had some kind of weird funky taste to it, couldn’t quite put my finger on what was wrong with it, but it wasn’t right. Our waitress , i think her name was Charlie, was awesome. She was quick, attentive, but not over-bearing. Nice atmosphere on the patio, i’d eat there again if i could find parking. Parking for this place can be a real pain in the ass.

We hosted our 50-person wedding reception at Cafe Karibo, and it was absolutely the perfect space for an event of this size. The layout felt intimate without being crowded. There’s a beautiful bar, a table for cake and photos, a small patio, and microphones and AV for presentations/speakers. Everything about the space was incredibly plug-and-play, making the setup and flow of the evening seamless and stress-free.

It smelled amazing and so we decided to stop for lunch as we passed by. The food and our waitress were excellent! We got the cup of corn and shrimp chowder and the greek quesadillas. Both were excellent and full of flavor! Im looking forward to visiting again, next time I am in town!

The food was great I had the veggie burger it was seasoned all the way through I added cheese. It was delicious. The potato salad was great too. I just wish I had more of the potatoes salad….Umm delicious.
My mother had their Fish sandwich she also like. The fish sandwich was so big with fruit and mixed greens on top and a little spice.
This is a great place to eat and great service we’ll definitely go back I’m from out of town and I’m still thinking about it. A+

Great spot for a relaxing lunch. We had a spinach and kale salad with grilled chicken breast and a shrimp salad sandwich with a nice side salad. The greens in the salad were very fresh. The home made balsamic dressing was tasty. It is very comfortable inside. I wish the weather was a little warmer. We would have loved to sit outside in their comfortable looking patio. Directly outside parking is in the historic district so you must post to park. Just across the street is outside of the historic district, so no charge for parking.

I took a star for not honoring Combat Veterans with a 10% discount. The service and food are excellent off the main street. The hamburger is a great choice here and ask for the mixed fries (sweet and regular). I had the house salad with blackened scallop add-on and that was delicious. Their chili feels very home cooked ( great flavor with natural ingredients). I imagine with a full crowd indoor would be loud.
